Question, has anyone else noticed a noticable difference in minnows and sinking minnows recently? Seems like sinking minnows got better over night, but its probably just my loleyeballing.

Edit: For hakuryus if it wasn't obvious.

idk...i experenced that last night too. sinking minnows were working much better then minnows for me. When that happens i just chalk it up to moon phase :x

Sinking minnows have always been better for me. Even if I have to pay 3k for them, they still end up netting more gil per cast. I don't have as much data on minnows, though.

no i mean minnows were sucking more then usual when compared to their usual amount of suckage. after about 6 hours of fishing i only pulled in about 20 hakus @.@. Got my hands on some sinking minnows and pulled up 8 in an hour lol.

Yeah, ment comparatively. Maybe I should have said minnows got worse instead of saying sinking got better. my 2 characters fishing w/ sinking minnows pulled in an average, but all 3 with normal minnows were really low. probably moonphase or something.

I know people that traded thousands before they got theirs, and I know others that traded 50 or less.

Except they sell out just as fast, and the price is often 4-5x higher than normal minnows (talking 4-4.9~k).

Sinking Minnows don't average that much more than normal Minnows. The gil is also better if you can get cheap minnows. Mitosis is right though. The only issue with Haks is the lack of bait.

I am just starting leveling fishing, and was wondering what area to start at, what rod to start with, and what lure/bait to use for first few levels. If this question has been already answered I apologize in advance. Currently level 0.
