Ideally you have a good squad leader who stays alive near an objective, rather than dying constantly or sniping in the back.
I've had rounds as a squad leader going like 3:10 and still scoring 3k points

I finished a round recently with 1 kill, and 10 deaths, but i was still #1 on my team and got MVP 1 ribbon.
Actually PLAYING the god damn objective no matter how much you end up dying... and being rewarded for it heavily... is PARTLY what makes this game so amazing.

And K/D can be important, the more you die the faster your team loses tickets. As long most or the entire team aren't getting a negative K/D ratio, it shouldn't matter too much.

Its a great game but I personally hate the browser loading system, it makes no sense to implement the game loading that way.

I really dig the server browser on the consoles, so much better than browser BS for sure. PC gaming will always honestly be better but to be honest im really enjoying the 360 version of this.
Anyone know if I can actually bind my melee to mouse 3 now?
What kind of mouse? Does it have software bindings or are you just wanting to bind a normal mouse?
I know i read somewhere about Naga mouse users able to bind whatever to it. I don't see why in either case you wouldn't be able to... it's just a matter of figuring out how :X

I just have a regular old mouse. The BF3 beta didn't let me bind my melee to mouse 3(wheel), so I was curious if that could be done in the retail version.
I'll go test it real quick.

You should never have to launch an internet browser to begin a game where the content has been installed on your PC. Farmvile yes. Modern 2011 PC game no. It just adds and extra layer of things that can go wrong.

Cool, now I can free up the F key which I can then use for prone. Maybe my hands aren't flexible enough, but Z for prone was just awkward for me.

I bought a gaming keyboard 2 months ago and I hate the frame on it. All the keys feel off set by 1 because they are 'small' keys like a laptop. So I'm always hitting the wrong key. I just keep it as a backup now and use my old keyboard.
I have the opposite problem, it took me awhile to get used to it cuz it's bigger than the average keyboard. Now it just feels off anytime I use anyone elses computer.

I changed that, i've never liked Z as any form of prone or crouch, too close to ASDW
my prone is my left Ctrl key and crouch is C, I'm just used to that.
BTW if you haven't checked out RUSH game type I highly suggest it. Been playing on that and its pretty intense. As attackers its especially interesting to try and push the fronts.

I've never much liked any of the new game modes they've added to Battlefield (although Rush isn't new to the BF series, BC1 and 2 had it) since the beginning one of the major reasons I've liked BF is for Conquest mode.
Capture the Flag on BF:MC2 was entertaining for a few days, but it got old quick.

meh, i don't technically consider BC1/2 as part of the "BF" series. even though it probably is...
I don't really either, but it still shares the name and game modes and stuff.. To me MC2, BC1, BC2 and 1943 are all just spinoffs. 1942, Vietnam, BF2 and now BF3 are the ones I consider 'real BFs'. I never did play 2142, no real reason, just never got around to getting it.
Desert Storm mod for BF2 was the best mod I'd ever seen on a game too =/ too bad it came so late in the game's life that so few people were playing it. There was only a handful of servers running it and only 3-5 at any given time with more than 20 people in it.

Oye. The F2000 has saved my *** so many times in CQC because of its absurd ROF but there is literally no accuracy for midrange fighting.
Also have come across the problem of.. holding the trigger down for 1 second and literally firing half my clip at 1 person.. it turns people into swiss cheese making multi target combat a bit difficult lol.. Hurray for the MP443 as my backup. I think I like it a bit more then the glock. It's served me well.

There was this f'king guy in a little bird the other day destroying the ***out of me... even had flares and i couldnt rocket him down... was soooo annoying... he was borderline spawn camping me.

ONCE, just once though. It may be possible that somehow there is a decimal % and your like 0.5% HP but the game registers as 0.
Just a guess... but yeah :|
