I can not fly a jet, nor should I be allowed near one because I shall keep trying.

If you're far enough away and at the right angle, you don't even have to be exposed for a sniper to kill you... I've sniped a couple of people that were 'in cover' by using knowledge of the way the bullet arcs. That wasn't cheating, it was skill.

EDIT: Guess I should clarify just in case.. I'm saying it's not impossible for a sniper to get at you just because he doesn't have line of sight, if it's a short wall, then he can still get you from the top.

I know what you are saying but the deaths im getting is not even right. Around the cnr for 2 min then boom dead. hp goes from 100% to 0 in 1 shot and I know where that person was and its no way he could kill me unless bullets curve left and right and go around a cnr. i know if u use a silencer u need to aim higher cause it makes the bullet drop. Another thing how do you get a 1 shot kill with that bolt sniper gun when you dont get a head shot. This 1 person forgot name went 20 and 0. I think they need to monitior for aim bot hacks. I know they are out there like on ffxi ppl use claim bots among programs that use fishing and other things. People want to deny this but until companys do something about this games will only go down hill. Cant wait for skyrm. It just ticks me off to see people cheating when its only a game now if i get beat fair then im ok with it.

It's already confirmed that there are hackers, it's unfortunate but not unexpected and there's really nothing that can be done about it.. Punkbuster isn't all that great of an anti-cheat program to begin with, then anytime it is able to find a hack, they just make a new one.

As for how to get one hit kills with the SV98 without a headshot, I don't know.. I've killed people with upper body shots, but I have no way of knowing whether they had been previously injured. Could just be a problem with the coding that needs some tweaking, or maybe there's a certain part on the body (maybe the chest/heart?) where you can still get a 1 hit kill.. and that's how it's supposed to be. I've never really payed attention to body shots, if I hit anywhere but the head I consider it a miss.

Lol <.< I was pulling up the scope on the SV trying to sight in a long range target, and accidently fired right when I pulled up the scope.. I nailed him in the head, it was a complete accident and it took me a minute to understand just what had happened. (he was at least 200-300 yards away)

Not true. Clans tend to absolutely dominate matches because they can use teamwork to completely lock down a match.

You do realize there is no safe cover in a game with destructible environments right?

Edit: It should also be mentioned if you accidentally go into a hardcore game 95% of sniper body shots are 1 shot kills.

lol yes I know there is no safe cover in BF but when another sniper shoots me 1st without knowing where I am and kills me across the map every single time is a aim bot. I never go to the same place twice. What gets me is that I cannot get verified but yet they know its me and my email address. I wish there was a kill cam instead of this person running around on BF.

Man BF3 feels like BO but instead of host conection problems its not conecting to games, getting kicked and now black screen of death. Why are we having these problems and why are there no laws for us consumers where we could take actions against companys for releasing crappy games. Like FF14, BO to name a few and also laws to keep companys in check to patch their games like WAW.

getting kicked and now black screen of death - being kicked from a match means you did something to be kicked.

Black screen of death means your hardware need to be looked at or you need to reclock your card/Lower settings.

also DICE is well known for patches when something is broken.

I play on xbox and I know how to open ports and have alrdy done it so its not my fault. Getting kicked I should word it different. Getting kicked is when your screen loads for a map then it tells you lost conection which I know I didnt.

That is your connection problem.

So how is it my connection problem you sould like that *** on bo fourms that tells every1 its their conection or isp but yet when it happens to him/her they say its something different. I rather play on xbox than PS3 and I would play on pc but if you have the gil to donate ill buy a new 15k computer.

360 doesn't get servers for this game

therefore all connection problems are linked directly to other 360 owners

same problem with BO is happening in a different way because BF isn't running on CoD engine so it gets the *** from 360 networking a different way. i dont know about ps3 stuff i heard 360/ps3 where getting a server browser but than i heard that there where no servers ...

BO was a major screw up. Glitched from the start. Dont matter if xbox dont have dont have the servers neither did MW2 or WAW or bad company 2 and I had no problems with those games. When they start add and changing the coding around it gets screwed up.

you crazy if you are saying MW2 and WaW where not giant rubber band fests.

MW2, played with a good host, had great hit detection. BO's was always messy, even with a good host. WaW I cannot comment on.

I never really had connection issues with BF games on Xbox. MW2, from time to time there would be a bad host. BO and WaW...I'll take peoples' advice next time to stay away from Treyarch.

WaW is the only CoD I like :< but I play on PC, not on console.

WAW was fun had no trouble with killing people but it seems now that dont matter where I hid they know where I am and I get sniped across the map in BF3. I havent even looked thru the scope and bam im dead. I seriously thinking ppl have to cheat to play games and that is sad.

I really doubt you're running into cheaters.. You can say you know where they were and there's no way they could hit you or whatever all you want, but I really doubt it. I've read all your posts and you sound like the typical CoD player. I've known a few hardcore CoD players, and they all act the same. They sprint across open fields, get capped and yell "***!" they run into an enemy territory, put their back against a wall, get shot by 3-4 different people and scream "***!" they duck and dodge from cover to cover without ever edging out and around the cover to scope the area out, and eventually get taken out and they scream "BULLSHIIIIIT!"

If you come into Battlefield with a Call of Duty mindset, you're not going to have any fun. A lot of the people playing have been playing since Battlefield's inception, we think tactically, we play tactically, we play to the mindset that the player who stands alone, dies alone.

If you're really having that much of a problem with dying, find a good squad, and stay in the back of them, go support or assault and support them, watch how they play and maybe you'll pick up how you can survive longer than 30 seconds.

Battlefield isn't built around fast paced action (although it has plenty of it, it's just not the main theme) it's built around strategy and teamwork. You are a soldier, put yourself in a real soldier's shoes, pretend those bullets are real and that if you get shot you will die for real, think like a soldier and you will live.

Is it just me or does the mid range sniper rifles have retard bullet drop

They're just HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE period =/ I don't like them. The SKS is okay, but without the sniper scope.. As a rifle alone, it's pretty decent. Nice clip size, good accuracy, decent damage.

I guess. I kinda miss the sniping from badcompany 2. I want to sip my morning coffee while looking through my binoculars~ spot a guy then switch to my rifle and nail him across the map and get my +marksmanship kill 500 points thing

Lmao "the other sniper killed me first, clearly an aim bot" you know what the back button on 360 does right? It's called spotting they don't have to see you if a teammate spots you. Also as it stands there's been a lot of server issues on 360 so that would be your connection problem.

always spot the target first before you kill for the extra 10 or so points :D

You can just hard with the semi auto. My max was a 445 headshit or something in that range. It's very possible once you get the sv98

I mean honestly why not. I tend to spot check bushes xD so spotting easily explains how someone can just happen to know where you are. No matter what in a bf game if you feel safe and hidden know you're probably spotted and about to die.

unless you're that jerk of a sniper that hides in a building and peaks up just to do a quick scan and quickly go prone. wait 15 seconds, then peak up again and take a shot or two then run away!
