Yep, they've only kinda fixed the issue, there is still some weird *** bug that's not routing us to the area we need to and instead is just popping back an error code.

It would be nice to at least have an option when logging in like "Do you want to reactivate at this time?" and if you say no it at least will let you get into the Main POL screen (god forbid we might want to message a friend or something :x) therefore that would allow us to access the POL menus and do everything we need to do.

But this is SE were talking about... likelihood of this happening? Low.


Or they should let us log in on the POL website to change info, but NOOOO we can't even do that because this error.

Clicking log out doesnt work... i have a nice list of "ways to fix this issue" that people posted... none work for me

would have been nice for SE to say "make sure you have the fee in your account because this free month, isnt free." when I try logging on according to PoL, they want 11-ish quid ;s. guess I will get back on when I get payed. lol

and SE havent replyed to my GM call, I made 2 min after disconnection.

Yeah or at least have told us our "free month" meant wasting our time trying to figure out why the *** we can't get on at all.

Bleh I have a card I use just for online payments and stuff. I ran that ***dry since this month was supposed to be free lol. I'll take care of it later though I have too much ***going on right now.

So I just saw this on official forum:

"idk if this means anything regarding log in to the registration server and validation server side? (different servers for log in validations for accounts minus security tokens verses accounts with security tokens)

I never encountered the 5024 error after the first PoL log in after reactivation auto-prompt option. After entering my PoL ID and password, I was prompted to enter the Square Enix ID, SE password and one-time-password.

Successfully, I can't explain... "

Now if what they're saying is true... then they were able to get pas the login reactivation prompt... while others are not... so now it seems that only certain accounts are being targeted and not being allowed to reactivate because of .... *** it if I know....

I think SE needs to define what a "USC-5024" error is before anyone can do anything about it. It's an error code they programmed into POL; they should know wtf it means.

I checked the website to log in and still says I can't, I like the little message about the bottom that says that they'll be adding the service to allow us to purchase content IDs, reactivate and all that ***... now the thing is ... that's probably been on there for years without them thinking about it, maybe this will make them clean out their ears and listen to us and do something about it rather then treating us like horse ***and expecting us to give them their money when in all reality they don't really deserve it if their customer service is this horrid.

I totally agree, how do they not know what 5024 is? It isn't like it's a mysterious new thing that has never before been seen by anyone. Well, maybe to some of us like myself but someone typed UCS-5024 over there c'mon. I find this all inexcusable to be honest. Not really the nasty glitch, but more the duration of the existance of the glitch.

That has been there for at least a year. The customer service gets worse every year. I've been playing since 2006 and service keeps going down hill.

Because looking at SE in a business stand point view just makes you realize how ***of a job they are doing right now.

Yet people still put up with it (me included >.>)

Any other business that pulled this type of stunt (as in giving us minimal information, telling us it's fixed when it's not and not even replying to our plea for help) and they wouldn't be in business for long anymore, yet SE can pull this off and expect us to just sit around and not do anything about it because we are addicted to this game.

The fact that they won't tell us what's going on other then "we are looking into it" tells us that they really don't have a clue what is going on either, and as far as figuring out what the error code means? I honestly don't even thing SE knows ... which baffles me to no end as they are the ones USING the system so they should know all the ins and outs of it by now.

At the very least they need to work on getting a support staff during the weekends they certainly have the money to afford it, but they seem to not want to do it for unknown reasons (waaah waaah someone is not going to be home on the weekend, tough it out or expect ***to happen)

I've been lurking the official forum all day (and replying in instances where I want to put my opinion in) and so far the only reply I have seen from a moderator is from yesterday (not counting the dev thing or w/e that posted saying it was fixed ... cause it really wasn't)

Online services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any other company conducting similar business would fail in a heartbeat under SE's standards of quality control and customer service.

SE gets away with it because their particular niche is doing business with game-addicts so not enough of us raise Hell. We keep paying them month after month, so really, there are no business incentives for them to change anything.

I managed to make it past the Reactivate button. But when I click play. I still get the No Content ID message... Anyone else run into this?

When I try to reactivate through the Content ID tab in POL. IT gives me USC-1104 message.. Telling me I have to reenter my information or make sure My ID's havnt already been reactivated... Lucky for me.. My wife jacked my debit card so I dont have the number to update D:
