There is many many people who won't or can't post here. I just really wish it didnt screw up like this but was expecting something to happen.

Nah, my card was using that mastercard thing, and it still got screwed.

I still find it extremely aggravating and annoying that they were able to take my money to pay for the back fee that I owed, yet they couldn't have simple asked "Do you want to use this card for your account since your old one didn'e work"

Nope, too simple of a fix.

On my main i cant even log on i get the acount off for unpaid fees, says reactivate click that try to log in get error and need to abort, somes account on same cc logs on just fine both accounts have 4 content id's, beats the ***outta me se just doesnt give a ***about na, wish we had a NA button like jp does

I don't see either BoA or Chase in Mastercard's list of "participating financial institutions."

If your bank is not listed, you are technically not allowed to be playing FFXI, even if you were grandfathered into their system, and they have been charging your account. Now what if when they moved servers during the surprise March maintenance, or the 2 week server downtime, or both, they locked out players whose cards did not comply with 3-D-Secure? The problem would crop up at the next billing cycle, which is now.

That's my theory anyway and the only material difference between my account and my mule's, which is paid under an "approved" card and fully able to log in.

That or it's completely random.

That's not the issue either. People already said that some of them are using the 3d secure and some aren't.

Nice, "April is free" as my account is deactivated right now for a lack of funds on my payment information. There are funds on my card and now I'll be paying for April to activate my account. Way to still get your money SE.

Edit 2: Nevermind, they can't even steal my money right either. Some lame *** error code after using my POL ID to login.

The code thing is totally not the problem... im on and playing Hubby get the error.

We use the same card, so clearly i wouldn't be able to play if that was the case.

This is where a nice call to se and a nice threat of a law suit comes in handy.

They have to provide us with the month free, they've stated they will so they are held responsible to it.

I've pretty much given up. Just gotta wait for SE to wake up in the morning and realized they pissed a lot of NA players off.

And don't jump the gun claiming you can Sue. This kind of fixes takes time. If this problem takes like a week or so then you can start thinking of suing. And for those who say "User agreement says that they can deactivate you without any notice and blah blah blah" User Agreements are NOT over the law. Charging you for a service that you are not being provided is nothing less than Stealing.

The fact that some people have still got charged for april actually does give a viable reason to sue, know if SE acknowledges their *** up and refunds the people that did then it's open for a suit against them since they made multiple posts about getting april fee free.

Edit: By the way, how long has POL and their billing service been around for anyways for them to still have issues with it? I mean seriously, some 8 years and it's still a piece of ***program. In my world, someones *** would be fired.

I think in the Common Law land where they speak Legalese, accepting a payment constitutes a waiver of certain contractual restrictions. So yeah, even if you've violated the payment terms (like forms of payment, time of payment, etc) in their user agreement, the simple fact that they still accepted your payment, but then cancel your service is grounds for a suit, though I'm pretty sure all you'd get is compensatory damages equal to the fees charged for services not rendered.

But what do I know. That's just my limited understanding of business law 101. :3

SO I just recently moved and i use bank of america and have done so for 7 years and me and my family have 7 accounts total and I changed my address but yet when i went to gas up the other day put in my new zip code it failed i used the old zip code and wala! only one of my 7 accounts cannot log in and it is stupid. i keep getting
