jessi, what do you think of this floor plan where the first thing you have access to from the front door is the master bedroom?
What I find weirder is the fact that it's a lengthy hallway with nothing except the Master Bedroom door there. The MBR shares walls with the pantry, the foyer, and the living room. And that other bedroom shares three walls with common areas. At least the upper-right bedroom is laid-out such that most of its walls should muffle sound.
Unusual to be sure. But it's still no match for the one I saw where the front door leads into the Master Bedroom, which then required you to walk through the walk-in closet, then the ensuite, and then it led you to the kitchen.

That's more or less the exact floor plan of my brother's old house minus the garage (entrance was where the bedroom to the right of the master bedroom was along with a small laundry room, and the bedroom itself was to the right of that). Can confirm it was weird

I don't remember how the rest of the house looked, but I just remember thinking about how awful it must be to carry a bed or something to the upper floor.
(It was sort of like this)
I should also point out that this was a new construction project. It's not something that cobbled together after years of renovations. No, they were breaking ground for this project.
Also, reason #8144 of why the English language sucks: They shouldn't be called buildings, they should be called builts!

I always thought "RIP in peace" was intentionally redundant to make a joke. Though I suppose some folks out there would have overheard it said like that and never knew what "RIP" actually meant.

Top Gun was outstanding, really surprised at how great it was. It actually is better than the first one.

haven't seen it yet, but have heard good things. And apparently it did the one thing we haven't seen happen en masse since 2019- the 35+ crowd showed up in theaters.
Maybe sometimes people just want something fun in their art, not always a message. Nuttin' wrong with that.

The Legendary Edition is already on my wishlist, but I'm also not sure how much I'm going to like the updates to the first game...
Didn't like the third one at all. If I played Mass Effect again, it would probably just be the first two games.
When I started 3D modeling, I never would have expected "paint color on the thing" to be eighty million times more complicated than creating the object or animating it.
Though I know I shouldn't complain. It's probably much easier now than it was even like 5-10 years ago.
