I was unaware this was the satire only section, but people are the sum of what they pay attention to. Surprised it hasn't caused mass transformation into cats. Although, I guess the catty mindset is there. It's possible to reach, resonate with, and change people's minds through most mediums. It all depends on the willingness of the person reading to be open to new ideas. I've met plenty of people through games, and sometimes even forums that led to real friendships and worthwhile conversations I wouldn't trade away. I've helped and been helped in return through the mediums being dismissed. Anyway, I didn't read back far enough to see what Celebrindal's original question was. If you need someone to bounce ideas off of, just PM me or something. I can argue both sides of most things if need be, but my responses may be delayed depending on what I'm working on.

No bills, no social media, no toxicity, just off the grid pure fantasy. Can't remember the books name though. I want to read it again, if you know of it. Definitely. Its just so frustrating to see such a huge and important aspect of our lives and our childrens' lives (what we leave them, what we teach them) has become a lost cause. Reminds me of eras where there was a "ruling class" and then "the rest of us"- and the concept of governance was completely alien to the vast majority of the population. That schism turned politics and ruling into something mystical that the average person wasn't capable of processing. And THAT is something I fear greatly...so just throwing our hands up in frustration due to such a small minority is something I just don't want to see happen. Don't worry @Rooks and others, I'll behave within the confines- was just hoping for some general conversation on how to address this rather than being the kid with a box of matches in a forest. How many people are even here or would that effectively reach anyways? I think people here are pretty "set in stone" type of mindset, myself included. Real change will never come from arguing on this game forum lmao. Go actually do the things, be the change. I think the reason Rooks closed P&R is silly but I've always seen that section as a blight on this site. FFXIAH has always been at it's best with sandwichposting I'm not going to get too far into this, but I would offer caution into reading into the "reason" p&r got closed, it wasn't one instance. The post chanti quoted was simply the last out of the game. There were literally dozens of outs recorded before that that piled up over a timespan of years and years, a decade even. All I really remember is the kid would be about 12, and traps food / jars honey/jelly.. it's been 30 years! Bismarck.Josiahflaming

Shrimp are decapod crustaceans. I always disliked sea food anyway.
