Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

HGAC Maganac announced for April release. Now to wait for all the other variants to be announced as P-Bandai exclusives.
Guess all those Build Divers cameos did the trick. Either that or we're getting a custom for season 2. schizm2 said: » Jetackuu said: » schizm2 said: » I think I could go to 2008 Enterprise to do the full but it's something about the 6 dimm 3 bank memory interweave system. It's there to correct errors in the memory on the server. It'll go to 12GB on a 32-bit system because of this, it's like duplicating itself rather than only a 2 bank system like 32-bits do. My servers were the later versions, the 3.33Ghz Xeons, it's just a setup kind of PAE but not really, but it's to prevent failing ECC memory. Can get up to 64gb on enterprise and datacenter, still if your hardware is that old it's not worth it and probably wouldn't have driver support. Still didn't explain what the hardware is. Your first paragraph there makes no sense. The servers? Dell Poweredge 2650, older tech 2U rack dual Xeon 3.2Ghz 6th gen. There's been parts updated like the Raid. I have four of these units, they were from the same business, one still has Novell on it. Installed is 32bit set up, with a 3 bank ram, the memory could get to 12GB of memory still as a 32bit system. I will not be able to access outside of 4GB but the server runs things in memory like a clone and in case something in the memory fails, the ECC will take over with the extra memory. Was thinking of seeing of just running my own FFXI server and just check it out, old school style ffxi. Again they're servers, not racks. I'd go recycle them, they're not worth the power it takes to run them. schizm2 said: » Freehugs said: » Valefor.Endoq said: » Agreed. unless it’s one of those KFC with the buffet. (The buffet also has pizza) I wonder if it's one of those combo stores. We had Long john Silvers and KFC. Also had Taco Bell and KFC, hell we had a Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. schizm2 said: » Jetackuu said: » Again they're servers, not racks. I'd go recycle them, they're not worth the power it takes to run them. Well these weren't something I was going to be using but I never had a chance to mess around with DELL servers before. I wasn't serious about using them or leaving them on, it would drive me nuts from the noise and my room temperature would be over 100'F with just one without cooling plus even having one server on uses two power supplies each. Now the rack that supports the 4 2U server has some other things in it like a KVM switch. If anything, I'll mess around with one of them, maybe turn two of the motherboards into wall art and maybe hook up the 7 fans to a solar panel to just run. I do have people wanting to buy the rack and the rails for another project, would actually make my money back from that alone. I guess I should mention that I was one of those people when going around neighborhoods used to see people throw out computers I would garbage pick it and just check it out and mess with the computers I would find. These days with laws, you don't see that anymore and the recycling centers I think checks computers turned it or trade them to companies that recycles them. So, I take advantage whenever I come across them. KVM switches are nice :D I mean you could probably throw linux on them and fiddle, you'd definitely want some auxiliary cooling (it's why my rack isn't fired up). The # of PSUs is kinda moot, if they're decently efficient as the same amount of power will be drawn either way. I've seen a stand-alone KFC with a buffet before, if I remember correctly it's recently went through a remodel, haven't been back, not exactly close by. Not to mention a meal of chicken and biscuits isn't exactly healthy, their other sides are terribad so I avoid them.

lies! The slaw is great! And that gravy with the mashed potatoes is crack
Slaw is never great and gravy sucks, and the mashed potatoes are a travesty.
