Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I wish I had a Manurhin MR73, they are supposedly really, really good guns.
Anna Ruthven said: » Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Quote: The weapons law doesn't apply to air guns and similar with a projectile energy less than 10 joules at the end of barrel. These require no license and may be bought by any person over 18 years. Firearms manufactured before 1890 and not using gas-tight unit cartridges are exempt as well. The gun license is obtained from the police, and one must be in good standing and at least 18 years old, but exceptions regarding age can be made. To apply, one must either be a member in an approved shooting club for at least six months or pass a hunting examination (jägarexamen). The former is mostly used to legally acquire pistols for sport shooting and the latter for hunting rifles and shotguns. A gun registered for sport-shooting may not be used in hunting. You are allowed to hunt without passing a hunting exam if you are chaperoned by someone that has passed the exam. A person under 18 years may not own a firearm him- or herself, unless an exception has been made. A person with a gun license may legally under supervision lend his or her gun to a person at least 15 years and older. A person may be granted license to own up to six hunting rifles, ten pistols or a mix of eight rifles and pistols. Owning more firearms than this requires a valid reason. Firearms must be stored in an approved gun safe. There is no specific permit for carrying guns. For civilians it's illegal to carry a firearm unless there is a specific, legal, purpose (hunting, going to range, etc.). The general guideline, for transport of firearms, is that the gun must be hidden and transported in a safe (unloaded etc.) and secure way (under supervision etc.). Example: Manurhin in France used to offer a police service revolver called the MR73 in .357 Magnum with a 9mm conversation cylinder, they had to stop because 9mm is a military cartridge, which is banned. Same in Italy; you can't own like a 9mm or .45 ACP or anything derived from a "cartridge of war" I'd have to check the actual law for that and ughhhh I'd say you probably can't but I don't know for sure obviously
i don't think it's possible for me to feel more sad right now... like seriously, life is so unfair. why me?
Witcher 3 crashed so hard it killed a stick of my RAM.

This is what our Police uses Quote: The current service pistol is a SIG Sauer of various models chambered for the 9×19mm Parabellum (e.g. the P225, P226 and P228). Speer Gold Dot hollow point bullets have been the standard issue since 2003. In 2012, new regulations were introduced, which allowed officers to carry with a round in the chamber, to reduce the risk of operator error and accidental firearms discharge in a dangerous situation. Police officers also routinely carry expandable batons and pepper spray. Officers may also, in addition, be assigned the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun under special circumstances or in a particularly dangerous situation. The Swedish police are also allowed, yet rarely use, tear gas against individuals or in crowd control situations. The National Task Force and Piketen also have the Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifle, shotguns and stun grenades in their armoury. The National Task Force is the only unit within the Swedish police allowed to use sniper rifles. In 2013, members of the task force were pictured with a Sako TRG M10 rifle, on a rooftop overlooking the arrival of U.S. President Barack Obama to the Stockholm airport. I dunno if you meant that the police used that firearm or if it was only banned for civilian use I just did a quick googling for what types of ammunition you can have and there are restrictions but I don't feel like clicking the links to find out exactly what you can't have lol
Looks like no, so long as the ammo isn't military specialty rounds like armor piercing, tracers, incendiary, etc.
Also looks like France removed the ban on 9mm and .223 Remington in 2013 or so. We can have tracers here, not sure about armor piercing or incendiary but you'd be surprised at what you can find at gun shows.
Most people here just use w/e is best for hunting and that's it

That seemed like fun lol I forget which one put a live .50 BMG round into a shotgun shell and fired it from a shotgun.

So I'm watching Beverly Hills Cop on Netflix and I'm beginning to wonder... If Foley is from Detroit, how does he know that Mikey guy and that one blonde chick from LA? Some exposition would be nice.

So when it gets too cold to throw a fishing line we'll be at the range. Too cold? Ice fishing! We have plenty of +p (plus P) ammo which has a high velocity. Basically I could shoot someone with a 45 standard ammo and hit them, but if they are on drugs or bath salts, I would want a +P to either blow back the person or better chance to absolutely kill them on the first shot. The Uberti can take it, but only like life or death situation. I don't know if new Ruger are actually rated for +P, make sure to check if you buy one. |
