People who call Altepa, Altep. =/ Earlier today I even saw someone shouting for a party call it Altoep. Not even close! /shrug.

One letter off is not even close? :S

I shorten to Altep all the time. Not like there's a similarly named place.

Depends on why they got mad really. I mean if they were waiting for you to do something you promised I'd get mad too.

idk just hate it.

I don't promise anything to anyone, I'm just "Johnny Come Lately" and help them on the spot then disappear.

The only time I anon is if I'm playing BRD and I don't want a random invite... When I'm in Jugner forest... clearly not wanting to go to a party.

I really hate all you people who act like inviting someone is so hard to things in Abyssea when they are just after a win. Its like Damn man, simple /sea name and invite then kick them if they lot on anything, you still have a leader thing (considered in party mode) and items don't drop if I remember right unlike in Alliance situations.

I know all these years of ninja players and random *** has hardened everyone's spirits. Making mostly everyone not want to help a random player.

But how many times were you helped when you were that random player?
Don't tell me no one ever helped you that you didn't know, with something, anything, because I'll call ***.

I've helped out tons of people 85% I can't remember their names and probably 100% of that 85% don't even remember me. Hell I don't even remember 60% of the people who helped me, but I do remember getting some help at different parts of my career on FFXI.

I may not be able to help the same people who helped me because they've long quit playing but I do go out of the way every now and then to help someone I don't know like they did.

it's a commodity they've come across, why not sell it? I don't go out of my way to sell every last drop like that, but you can't seriously resent that someone does?

no one is owed anything; people who think they should be given free ***like seals and wins are my pet peeve.

I've had the same mindset, don't mind helping people. Lately, however, people been pissing me off.

The problem with is for most people is that they don't get anything out if helping anyone. but i would rather give away a seal no one in my group needs then let it drop or god forbid become so cheap that i would try and make money off it. The life of FFXI is based around the group actions of people, if we all just sold our souls instead of helping each other this wouldn't be the same FFXI it is.

oh and current pet peeve:
everyone afking in front of the damn npc, it always happens but damn it your MH is just 5 seconds away.
