I'm still working out my cleric roles. I went pure offense on my Guardian character. It's ok, but I don't think it's a role to start out with. It gets better around ~12-13. I guess I can't complain too much though since I got all the way to level 14 yesterday. My other cleric I started on Tuesday hit 18 on Saturday.

Beta is sadly over.

I played Rogue all the way to 38. Awesome calling overall.

Bard = awesome support for dungeons
Riftstalker = awesome tank for dungeons(surprisingly)
Bladedancer/Assassin = pretty decent DPS
Ranger/Marksman = Frikkin awesome soloing combo and probably great DPS for dungeons
Nightblade = Didn't play with it because I didn't need to
Saboteur = Awesome spike damage. Good in PvP when paired with assassin.

In an earlier post, I was worried about the killing/leveling speed.

I changed one of my roles to ranger/MM and I was killing so fast lol. Bard/RS is definitely only when ***starts to hit the fan solo.

I wish I played more with mage... but meh

Cleric and Warrior just weren't my cup of tea.

im definitely going back to my bard/ranger/saboteur ill probably make a cleric too. gonna be going with guardians, i just couldnt get into the defiant side

I worked on my cleric builds earlier. I have three roles (healer, DPS, hybrid) that I'm going to try out once headstart begins..

I like the Defiants as a faction more. However, I can't ignore the Guardian High Elf wisdom bonus as a cleric.

SO since the chances are rather high that within the next two days a final server list will be released, do we all want to roll on the same server and make a guild? Or do we wanna go out and do our own things? Input etc.!

I wouldn't mind a guild or something at least in the beginning. Just to have some people to bug! Faction doesn't matter to me, as long as it's not on a PvP server. :b

Yeah, people that are in can all roll on a PvE server and whatnot, we'd have to decide between Guardian and Defiant too. But keep in mind, you can always make 6 characters on every server on any faction, even if you have the opposite faction on that server already. So you can still do your own thing while being able to play with the FFXIAH crew!

Yeah, let's hope so. Earlier would have been preferable to give "serious" guilds time to prepare and organize before Head Start tho.

I'm working on a FAQ for my site. It's touching mostly on things that you want to know about a game before you buy it. I'll touch on gameplay (quest/class/role/calling/etc.) in a separate guide.

So far I've got questions like pricing, server division, UI, and macros.

Suggestions? Questions?

I'm about to start on a "Beginner's Guide" of sorts that goes into basics about faction, races, classes, etc. I'm debating on how in depth I want to go since callings can get very complex.

Can probably just list each Calling's possible roles and each Soul's general archetype. I.E.:

Warrior (DPS, Tank, Support, Debilitation)
-Paladin (Physical Tank)
-Reaver (Physical Tank, Physical+Magical DPS, Debilitation)
-Void Knight (Magical Tank, Magical+Physical DPS, Debilitation)
-Champion (Physical DPS)
-Paragon (Physical DPS)
-Riftblade (Magical DPS)
-Beastmaster (Physical DPS)
-Warlord (Physical Tank, Support)
-Vanguard (PvP, Tank, Support, DPS)

etc. etc. maybe add in short bios or something for each, detailing what they normally do and how they're normally used.

edit: added more depth in magical/physical connotations
