Hey everyone.
I've been trying to confirm the 10% tests on Charis Casaque +2, but I've run into a problem.
TP over 4 attack rounds with Charis Necklace + Suppanomimi + Etoile Casaque (Daggers: Kila+2(190) and Kartika (201), STP+20 from gear)
(no attacks connected by mob, no parries, no double/triple attacks)
Tp over 4 attack rounds with Magoraga Beads, Loquacious Earring and Charis Casaque + 2:
If you switch out the Kartika for Auric Dagger (Delay 201, Enhances Dual wield) and use a non-DW body, the results are the same as using the Charis +2 as the only DW enhancing piece.
As a result, I think it may be the case that Charis Necklace is less than 5% dual wield.

Get 10 hits with each setup (4 rounds isn't as precise/useful) and give me the numbers. List each build in detail (relevant pieces) so there's no confusion.
This came up previously but was never verified, glad to see some more info.

I'll do this later.
As it is, I'm in Batalia_S and /RNG so it's a pain to even get 4 attack rounds without parrying/getting hit, and I'm not sure anything will survive 10 attack rounds that isn't a Gnole or a Goblin (both of which will find ways to mess up my test lol)
The TP return is exactly as I posted for each item every time, with CharisNeck+Sup as DW enhancers, it seems to be around 10.75 TP/round, whereas with Charis+2 body, it's somewhere around 10.33 TP/round.

On a related note; (lol)wiki says the +1 body has 10% dual wield - total and utter BS?

I didn't have the +1 body long enough to test it.
Edit: Well, I did, but I was too busy +2ing it to think to test it.

Anyway, here was the gear I used for the mini-test I already performed.
I'll use the same stuff later. (I swapped out anything with +double/triple attack on it to ensure no multi-attack rounds).
Testing Neck + Suppa:
Testing Charis+2:
I don't really know the formulas all that well, so I don't know what the expected values for each attack round would be...but eyeballing it looks like it might be 3% DW.

Could be anywhere from 1-3% with those numbers, but it's definitely not 5%. Thanks again.
EDIT: Going to test and see if it's 3% or <=2%.

Would it be easier to pin down without the Store TP and/or with +Slow?

Awesome, I look forward to the results.
(Also, it's really sad that we've had the wrong information this long.)
(Oh, and by the way, screw tactical parry...it screwed up half my attempts at getting a sample lol)

200/264 delays, 0 store TP, DNC/BLM, Suppa/Charis neck. 46 TP returned, neck is 3% DW.

In better news, I'm getting some interesting results for the Striking Flourish enhancement when used in conjunction with Casaque +2.
I dealt a 1125 100ish TP Shark Bite with a 10 TP return (first hit killed the mob?). Usually a 11 tp return shark bite is like, 700-800 dmg... so I'm trying to pin down if there's something funny going on here :P

Similar, 175ishTP, 12TP return Striking Flourish Shark Bite w/ Casaque+2 vs. Smilodon in Batalia_S ---> 1357.
300TP Striking Flourish Shark Bite, 12 TP return w/ Loki's Kaftan--> 1108
Call me crazy, but could Striking with Charis Casque+2 be allowing critical hits on non-critical WS?

Pretty dramatic difference, certainly worth looking in to.
For what it's worth, if your BRD has AF3 hands +2 then you're sitting right at the delay reduction cap with capped gear haste, double marches, and Suppa/Charis neck/Charis body +2. If you have haste and marches... you'd be sitting at 76% haste, overcapping delay reduction with no DW gear whatsoever.

I am disappointed about the DNC neck, but oh well. It is still the best item for that slot most of the time. Nearest competitor is a Wivre Gorget from Tahrongi with a Crit+3 Augment?
The Striking Flourish tests look interesting. I'm 5 seals from the +2 body myself, and may get them tonight if I can get a Ninja to come help me. My farming of them has been hampered by my desire to proc Red on the baby Cerbs.

I'm still not 100% on what the striking flourish enhancement is doing. I know at least on EP/TW crap it seems to boost crit rate to 95%, and I seem to get really strange WS damage.
BUt yeah, Charis is still the best in slot I think if you're not receiving full haste buffs.
For March + Haste situations, I guess it would be Crit+3 gorget or Agasaya's collar?

Then the 外人方 has been behind for months. :P
ENwiki has said 5% up until yesterday when I changed it.

It's a shame that JP wiki has no info on the Striking Flourish effect.

Anything further on this? I got my body +2 today, did one Striking Flourish -> Viperbite on a level 0 monster and it didn't crit. Could have been bad luck. Have to sleep.
Update:
Logged back in this morning and did 3 Viper Bites with Twashtar (D45).
Viper Bite: 132, 190, 167
Rudra's with Striking: 1362
Rudra's without Striking: 831
I did a few more after that that I didn't write down, but my impression is that it can definitely force crit on WSs that normally don't crit. The rate may be lower than the ~95% rate the OP observed (I had several non-crits) due to missing out on the "normal" crit rate (24%). Still, this is a hell of a buff for Rudra's, and probably explains Yuna's high damage Rudra's Storm (was wearing +1 body, iirc).
Update 2:
After spamming around some more, I'm getting a feeling of ~50-70% Crit rate with Striking -> VB.

I've actually been observing a lower crit rate lately on striking. I think 50% - 70% sounds about right.

Now when people ask me why I'm working on Twashtar I have a better response than "Because I want to stab things with popsicles."
