Shirts that ride up as I walk. People who are too stubborn to listen to your suggestions and get offended if you tell them something will work better than what they're doing. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm trying to help you. Personally, I take as much advice as I can get and follow the examples of the players I consider to be exemplary.

Were you asked for the advice? If not... people, in general, don't really take criticism too well even if it is constructive... I find it annoying when I'm derping about and someone feels the need to come up and tell me that I should do something differently... whether they're just "trying to help" or not...

Normally, it's when I'm already helping them. For instance, helping them farm seals and +2 items. I'll check out their gear to be sure they have the best equipment and if I know something will work better I suggest it. Even then, if I can simply buy them an item, I will. I guess I'm just an overeager helper who believes everyone should have a chance to look their best. =/

People who, instead of giving constructive criticism or friendly advice, do it in a demeaning fashion, in order to "prove" just how 1337 they are.

Constructive criticism or advice is fine. Ridiculing someone in order to boost your ego at their expense is extremely immature.

That grinds my gears.

Indeed! I also hate when I ask for advice from someone and instead of actually helping me with what I'm trying to accomplish I'm told that I shouldn't even try it. If I didn't think I was capable of it, I wouldn't be attempting it.

In the end, I find a way to prove them wrong.

Oh it doesn't apply to everyone. Some people look perfectly peachy with styles on that I look absolutely ridiculous in. Lucky turds! For example, one of my friends and I were taking turns trying on a leather jacket back in the day. She put it on and looked like a respectable country singer. I put it on and looked like an escapee from Hell's Angels. No fair! Anyways, if I wear T-shirts that are too long I look like a horribly mis-outfitted gangster. If I wear sweaters that are too long, they billow in the stomach area and I look pregnant. Something about my frame just can't pull off long shirts, they overwhelm me. ;;

I grind my own gears. All the time!

I order a pizza with jalapenos. Oh, so good! But so hot! But so good! But my tongue is on fire! But so good! And so next time I decide to just get green peppers instead, and the very next time I order pizza... must have jalapenos! And I repeat the cycle. Why. ;;

Or I do laundry, and shove the towel load into the dryer, and when it's done I don't feel like folding towels so I just leave them in the dryer and forget about them. Then next time I do laundry I go to put something in the dryer and it's full of towels. Gah! Why! Damnit Liela!

Or I load the dishwasher and forget to run it, and then go to load it later and it's already full of dirty dishes. Damnit Liela!

Or I clean everything at once, so I vacuum the floor with smell-good carpet powder, sweep and mop with pine-sol, wash down the windows with Windex, spray Tilex all over the bathtub and sink and wipe them down, get toilet cleaner all up in the toilet, and my husband comes home for lunch, walks through the door, and gags and says something along the lines of "Why does the house reek of cleaning chemicals? ALL the cleaning chemicals!? Damnit Liela!" This happens probably once a week or so. I like to clean the kitchen everyday, and the house on Mondays. And sometimes on Thursdays. /blush.

What I find funny about this is I am in Idaho Falls. Who would of thunk that someone would post something about here.

I feel bad for this one. So, my sister has three kids. Cute kids, yes, and awesome kids, and very nearly the only three kids on the planet that I don't feel like I will catch cooties from, because kids are terrifying and evil and full of cooties.

Anyhow, so she sends text message pictures every week or so of her kids doing normal kid stuff. Today it was a picture of my darling niece doing homework. It's nice to get pics of them, sure.

But she sends them to everyone in her address book (I think) as a 'pic-to-all' thing. And then half a dozen or two of her friends hit "reply to all" and oodle and coo over the cute pics. For crying out loud! I love my nieces and nephew but the pics aren't even that cute! She's doing homework, her back is to the camera, you can't even see anything except a lot of hair, and I don't even know all you people, so why the devil is my phone blowing up for the hour with texts "replied to all" that all say "AWW how cute!"

Stop that. >< Stop that right this minute! Someone somewhere do something about disabling the "reply to all" button, please! Pretty please with chocolate on top!

And my mom in law. She's awesome, she really is. There is this huge forest fire that I've been whining about for months up by her place, and as a result a lot of animals are being left at the humane society and the staff is stretched really thin. She's been going out of her way to go to the shelter and do what she can to help, taking the dogs out walking and stuff. It's really cool of her.

But.. as a result, all the time she's all "I want this dog!" "OOOH I want this dog!" "I'm in love with this dog!" And it drives me nuts! If you are in love with a homeless and abandoned dog that is stuck at an overfilled, understaffed, smoked-out shelter, adopt it! So tonight she was walking this gorgeous black and white dog, and was going on and on about how sweet he was and how much she loves him and hopes he gets a good home, and I was all "Well adopt him then! You'd be giving a dog you love a home, you'd know it would be a good home, and we all know he's be loved and cared for until the end of his days." And she's all "I CAN'T!;; ;; I already have two dogs!"

Ok, yes, she already has two dogs. One is getting quite old, the other is frisky and would do well with a younger playmate. She lives in a humongous house, two living rooms, a large kitchen, a separate dining room, four bedrooms, and workroom, and a laundry room. (Not counting bathrooms.) She also has a large fenced-in backyard. She has plenty of room for more than two dogs. She takes her own dogs walking every day that the smoke isn't too bad, it would be next-to-nothing to add one more dog (especially since both hers walk very nicely) and she has enough time to give more than two plenty of individual attention. In fact, the only difference it would make is that she'd have to buy dog food slightly more often.

The dog is abandoned, homeless, in a scary smoky environment, in a very overcrowded and understaffed shelter, probably frightened and confused and wondering what he did wrong to make him family leave him, and a woman who just 'loves' him won't take him in because of some pre-conceived silly notions about the arbitrary number of dogs she's 'allowed' to have. >< My god, woman!

This is extremely aggravating. People, who for one reason or another, can't seem to get over their ButtHurt Disease. They remain in a constant state of seething rage and hate over something and someone, and will continue to do so, mocking and belittling them, or demanding "manners" such as a "thank you" when nothing in particular has actually been communicated to warrant the need to be more polite than usual.
