Acc Or Haste Belt?

I know as for as TP/DPS acc and haste are what you need but Im unsure of of the cut off point for acc ><.

I know Acc will benifit me more up to a point and thats determined by what your fighting. I don't fight anything harder then Abyssea mobs, so I would just have to guess a Haste belt would be better.

Right now I uas a Virtuoso Belt and Im sure I will be doing COP (now that it's been set on easy mode) soon and get the 4% haste belt.

I guess I just want to make sure that the Haste belt will be an improvement to my dps considering the gear that I use and the mobs that I fight. Guess you can see my profile for my gear but I use full perle with coral earings and woddsman rings.

Edit: I useally just eat meat since its cheap "meat mithkabobs"

Since you are a full Perle PLD, go with the haste belt. Replace your parade gorget with PCC or something until you need the extra tick of refresh. Full timing it is pointless.

Don't use meat if you need accuracy.

Crab sushi is also cheap if you're looking for an ACC boost.

Is the goal here to use dd/atonement spam to get hate and tank abyssea nms or to dd on standard abyssea exp mobs?

Leech exp is what it looks like.

Looks like a first voke or something so DDs have an easier time to target a mob and less confusion.

I mean I don't want to "be a leech", Yes I main assist in Abyssea and I do belive a PLD that is not main assist in abyssea is bacicly just leeching, but I do main assist and I think I do a better than decent job.

Anyways I know that if I need Acc I should use the acc and if I don't use the Haste but I guess my question was would I need more acc then I allready have on anything no tougher then Abyssea IT exp mobs?

Wasn't sure on the math behind it and thought someone here could help.

Haste is generally considered better than ACC for TPing.

Edit: Also swift belt has some ACC on it, so any ACC belt wouldn't be a huge ACC upgrade.

Pretty much in abyssea, if you need accuracy just eat some sushi or pizza. Replacing a haste slot with accuracy will hurt your damage output more than its worth.

4% haste is gonna beat 9 accuracy is almost all situation unless you had a blind potion active maybe?

Also your current build puts you at about 387 acc depending on merits and whatever your base dex actually is.

Which means you should eat pizza (or crab sushi if you wanna be super cheap) to cap your accuracy on most normal abyssea mobs.

If you've got decent accuracy gear (Homam/Perle) etc just use accuracy food and gear for Haste. Even PLD doesn't suffer so bad that accuracy will pull ahead, if you are in a situation like that it'd be better not to engage at all since that's generally the extremely high level category of mobs.

If you aren't actually tanking you are probably best off using Joyeuse or another multihit although I'm just assuming your shamshir is PDT.

Assault and brutal earring would be better ideas for TP earrings. Goblin cracker for ammo.

Someone here might be able to give you a more precise calculation of when acc is better than haste.

ah ok well I do keep crab sushi in the satchel as well, also I just looked it up and its the same price as meat (I thought it was higher)

so yeah I will switch to that. I was basicly just eating meat to be eating something even if it didn't increase my productivity alot I figured it had to help a small portion.

use a great sword (new ws trial are easy to make)
haste gear for tp
STR gear for ws
berserk fulltime
eat pizza
spam spinning slash
phalanx full time

Edit: People don't understand that I can pianissimo double atk on myself & keep double haste on you lot who think haste is good - making me double awesome because my daggers rock (Note to dummies, daggers dont need haste they attack fast anyway!!!)

ok lets see where to start I would use pizza but thats 5k for one and sushi is 5k per stack. Is using pizza really gonna help so much to actually increase the amount of exp I get per hour in abyssea?

In abyssea I basicly do just full time that set ><, I have an enm+ set and what not just don't really marco it in. the only thing I macro in are my hospitaler earing and 3% cure adaman barbuta into my cure marco's.

The reason I don't marco in my emn+ stuff is because I can hold hate till about 50% and by that time Im needing to disengauge to get the next mob engauged.

when I say "Better then decent job" I mean I am engauged on the next mob either as or before the first one dies so fighting is as seemless as possible, I hold hate until I disengauge (as much as possible), and I can handle curing myself full time (with somesort of refresh and granted ***doesn't hit the fan).

Edit: as far as WS's go I useally just use sanguine blade in abyssea. I can get lucky and get some 500+ vorpals but that is in no way consistant. do people actually make "WS sets" for saguine blade and does it really help?
