Karth is actually a pretty useless champ outside his ultimate. You'll like middle if you get comfortable with it. I usually only have problems with Cait's.

I just glanced over it all, but it seems like the mac client is still in closed beta testing. You'd have to hunt down a link somewhere to get it, I guess.

Dunno, guess the combination of not being able to Drain the cannon minions and not being able to harass him well enough kinda screwed me over.

Karth is really good at harassing! Cait though, yeah her range is ridiculous.
Fid isn't that great at middle.
If there's a jungler, assume he's in the bushes trying to gank you unless you see him elsewhere.
Other than that, just try to keep track of where all the champs are.

Well being that it's a free game and such, I'm sure they're taking their time. xD But I just read a post of someone asking where they can get the beta link from and they got told "this is the wrong place to ask that" so... I dunno!

/facepalm, apparently you didn't read what I said. You know that move doesn't hit single targets? It's a small AoE? If he is attempting to hit you, you won't avoid it all the time. He's going to do damage. It's harassment.
