Edit - I found my pubstomper champ. Akali all the way lol nice, odd as it sounds I darius jungle lol, win about 7/8 matches... lol
Took me so long to find my pubstomper but once you find it, it's such a joy.
Now I just need to learn to take objectives properly rather than trying to help unsolvable situations because I want my team mates to not spend the whole game on their death timer. Dinged 1500 elo yesterday, slowly, slowly. did you get a name change or are you still ZEDhimself? Or am I thinking of someone else.
Didn't change my name, no.
Playing on my EU smurf these days though, got lv 29 yesterday. ah~ cuz I was about to say...I thought you were stuck in forever bronze.
Normals elo that is.
My elo in ranked is the lowest of the 3 basically :< (even my elo in normals on NA is better, which is surprising seeing my stats). Whenever I get some free time I'll restart the climbing, this Wukong spam is a bowl of fresh air. Faced many gold players, helped a bit. I want the silver borders for next season! Level 20 is when you can use tier 3 runes, right?
Yup.
how can you find out your elo for normals?
Go to kassad.in, look for your name. Refresh the page as soon as you are on loading screen when starting a game, it will load the data of everyone and give you the overall hidden MMR and then the team hidden MMR.
It will give you your stats depending on the game mode. From there, you can gather data and guess your MMR. There is also a Korean website (don't have the link here) that gives you your MMR directly but it only works for ranked and doesn't need to be opened at any specific time, can do it whenever. My hidden MMR given by kassad.in in ranked for example is 894 (which should be true as I started season 3 at 800 elo and have barely moved up), while the Korean website (after a win) gave me 905. Doing a bunch of ARAMs, helping a friend get to 30 on NA servers if anyone wants to join in. My name is "The Leper".
Ive been trying to get back in the swing of things, but suffering from an intermittent 5000+ ping. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Im assuming its probably a hardeware issue. It makes anything, but easy bots impossible though since I d/c every min or so for 20+ sec at a time.
Great success!
Oshi, I bought 15k RP not long ago, let me see...
17 of June, may be a bit too long ago :/ Fairy.Spence said: » I. ***. Hate. Jungle Nunu if well done means 2 levels late for you, 1 at best (unless you are good at countering this, some people manage to go 1-1 with him regarding buffs stolen).
The only thing to counter Nunu is either for him to be bad/worse than you or, as most people do, ban the ***. He's a pain. *** this game -.-;
I go shen top, like 9-1 with shen atm (w/l) our xin zhao proceeds to keep feeding the malph top (diving etc) i end up 0 kills 8deaths and like a ton of assists. (more than anyone else) all 4 of my teammates report me for being 0/8. (6 of which were after the laning phase after our jungler and our bot fed their team) "GG report shen, piece of ***" "GG shen, you suck" "GG 0/8 top shen" love this *** game. Normal ELO doesn't really mean much tbh
Then again, neither does Ranked ELO either. Unless you're ***stomping everyone Asura.Lolserj said: » Normal ELO doesn't really mean much tbh Then again, neither does Ranked ELO either. Unless you're ***stomping everyone Agreed. Elo in solo/duo queue means how well you can abuse your teammates to make the plays to win the games. It also means nothing now compared to the old system because of the many people who elo boost to high league who shouldn't even be there. However, I think ranked 3's and 5v5 elo means more because Its how well you and your team of friends/people you play with are against other people and you never really have to worry about a random person sucking or feeding on purpose. Normal ELO counts for a lot, I'm pretty damned sure. I know that if I'm in a game with some of my newer friends (30s), it either increases the average player skill or there is someone who is my average rank (or higher) placed on the opposing team.
I don't think elo in solo/duo queue ranked means how well you can abuse your team mates to make the plays to win games. Don't see what it has to do with abusing at all, if I'm honest.
Its partially luck, but its also a show of how well you can cope with being thrown into a team with 4 random strangers. It's a good opportunity to make plays vs your opponent, potentially show positive leadership (and don't tell me this is not possible), and to recognize players who try their best themselves to climb the ladder. With the exception of those who elo-boost, of course. :/ In short, it shows how well you can deal with any of those situations above. The better plays you make, and the better your team reacts to those plays (thus your victory becoming more likely), the higher your elo gets. I forgot which player it is, he's either on Taipei Assassins or some other Asian team (trivia available on leaguepedia). Said guy said that he was bored of having 20/40min queues on Korean server because he was literally challenger level and had nobody of this level playing normals. MMR dictates who you'll face, the only thing that can skew this are premades but when they do destroy it, they do it good. Someone may be Diamond V, if he's not in a premade and you're playing against/with him, it means that he has your level in term of mechanics/skill (unless the guy tanked his MMR, but that's another story). |
