Welp, wanna know how I know I'm a noob? Wanted to quit a game we just won.
Our Grag disconnected for 20 minutes or so. Left us with Cho, Yorick, Vayne, and Janna. Held on fighting off super minions forever and finally mananged to ace them enough times to push to end.

That doesn't make you noob. Ranked aside it's not worth 40 minutes of my time in a normal to sit and farm and hope we somehow pull a 20% chance of actually winning. I'd rather surrender and pick up a new game where I have odds of winning and actually have fun.

Nah, I wanted gold before I moved back to crap internet land, but that was before I found out you can still drop a tier from lack of playing.
what you guys need to do is invest some time on showing some noobies how to play. I;ve been duo que with my nephew which i taught him how to play since he was 12. He is like 13 or 14 now and we have been making some good progress. We are both in silver II right now. Planning on going to gold either by duo or by team. Last year we were able to get to silver by duoing. But yeah invest some time on playing with some1 constantly even though they might not be as good yet. Over time they will become better and know your habits and how to work well with you since you have been playing for a while.
imo~ stick with 1 or a select few champs~ and just play them constantly~ its the best way to learn the champ in and out~
learn how to counter your counters etc etc.
I may only be in silver II atm. but i consistently play with people who are in gold/plat/diamond a lot~

with some rules in place
(like has to be level 30)
randomly generate a list of team's from a random bucket of people who want to participate.
then schedule events?

Dun want an entire team of top players...that'd be OP as hell in S3 xD
i'm down to play. Ganzo69 prefer top but more experience as support. Supports include: taric,leo,lulu,nunu,j4,blitz,alistar and willing to learn more if needed. I'm not a good player but i try. i'm pst usually play night
I'd honestly be down to play anything in something like that, though I prefer something in bottom lane or jungling
Doesn't Riot sponsor a lot of tournaments? Maybe you could get some RP prizes.
