League of Legends
I dislike people who say BG at the end of a match.
I've never done it but I've felt the urge to before. Usually when, no matter how hard I try or how well I play, I'm teamed up with 4 monkeys, and the other team is either my level or better on all counts. I don't want to say BG to the opposite team to be a poor sport, but at my own team for being such dead-weights, and the infuriating futility of it all.
Also, when 4 surrender and I'm totally capable of carrying the game. That'll make me pop a blood vessel one of these days. For me, its BG if I am teamed up with idiots who can only complain and die in the game and show no sportsmanship, resulting in a loss. Other than that I never say it.
But when I do say BG, I always say WP for the enemy team if they did good. silver II :O
I agree with Tsuji
I don't want to take away from other teams play (unless they're ***) so I saw WP'd to them. I say BG not because my team plays poorly, but because they're complete numpties. Like a major throw because they continually get caught and ***. I rarely say it though. I'm old school when it comes to this whether I win or lose, I'll always say Good Game (GG) to the team in front.
Even if they were children, even if they were ***, even if my own team was, I'll say Good Game for the sake of aknowledging what just happened, a game. Even if I stomped them or got stomped, I'll say GG and it will mean "Good Game" with no sarcasm or whatever behind it. I would never ever say BG, no matter what the situation is, that's down right wrong in my opinion. Then again, I started online games long ago and used to go to LANs, if you didn't respect people you would have troubles. I personally find BG WP to sound condescending.
Just my take. 2 for 2 in ranked games today~ 4th place in my division yeeeuhh...
and i think its a good time to stop for today :3 So I'm 4th in Silver II
If I win again, I should go to Silver I? Steel Legions are out now~

I dunno, I read that if I win 2 out of 3 that I advance and I just won 2 in a row
I guess we'll see after my next game bronze I, looks like my first division match will be a promotion matchup ;o can't wait lol

Granted you can get terribad teammates in league, but if someone is extremely derp the other team can tell. I feel you should just suck it up and say GG, or say nothing at all. I feel its more classy that way, regardless of the outcome. I can only remember saying it once, and I think it was cuz we had afk's. I'm not saying it's good by any means. I just get angry in LoL :/
Jeez, Bronze V, 30th.
Half of the league has 200+ wins, I'm scared. What does the "G" means under the number of Wins in ranked? It doesn't match my losses or my total of game played so I'm a little lost. Honestly I take comfort when I see they have like 200 ranked wins when I have only 35 or so. Means they're about their true ELO while I'm still climbing.
P.S. Aaron and revive/teleport Karthus is gay Sylph.Spency said: » Honestly I take comfort when I see they have like 200 ranked wins when I have only 35 or so. Just had to dodge a game where a guy forced a dual mid and nobody respected pick order. If I was 1300+ elo and had 200 wins guys with me I'd be happy, just not at *** 800 elo. I still don't respect pick order lulz

LOL sorry, you can tell how often I lurk ffxiah (let alone LoL thread.) :p I did get an account a while back, but I am still in the nooby bot-game-phase. :p I played Warcraft 3 DOTA before, and I like the chara designs and am the type of person that likes to read everything (backstory/strategy/builds) and try out everything and tweak and pick at things, so still at that level (about where Faelar was a few months back maybe.) ^^ I wanna play with Schutz

What was the wait timer reduced to?
i don't get this ***, had 2 great games in a row, carried both, won the first, gained 19 points.
lost the 2nd because our team threw hard (our mid kept feeding and our jungle kept getting caught in theirs, then they got baron and yea lol) after 2nd game, lost 19 points...so back to 0... dafuq? :/ I really wish the people at riot knew how to maths, and make a valid rating system, i mean if i carry and do really well all game, even if i lose the game i should get some sort of reward or a higher benefit from just somebody who got carried. i basically just played for no benefit in the last 2hrs :| gg riot, gg. Problem is, even someone going 0/7/0 and 150 cs in a 70min game can still impact the game much more than the guy who went 34/2/15 and 507 cs.
They can't judge your value on a personal basis, it's impossible. I know your feeling though, I have the exact same number ***happening. Aside from having a referee of sorts spectating every match, you can't even really say who's carrying just by looking at the endgame page. Scores are not even close to an accurate measurement on the 3 'carry' roles, and they can downright lie when it comes to support and jungle. I had a game just today where I ended something like 5/12 on Riven, just because of an early successful Amumu gank followed by camping the lane and diving the tower at level 5. I told my jungler to just ignore my lane and focus on putting pressure on other lanes. Despite having an abyssmal scoreboard, I certainly did my part to help win the game by just drawing their junglers attention to top and having Amumu waste his ult on me even though I was hardly worth gold (I think I was like 0/6 by 15 minutes), allowing my jungler to win mid and bot with hardly any ability to contest from their jungler, and ultimately won the game. Now, I'm not trying to say something as dumb as "I carried the game by feeding", but I took a bad situation (being behind in lane and camped) and made the best advantage I could for our team out of it. Any sort of algorithm that judges by scoreboard statistics would essentially say "oh ***, he did horrible, punish punish punish!" when in reality I didn't really do that bad at all given the circumstances. Points rewarded based on KDA will encourage people to play differently. Play for themselves rather than the team.
