Lol.. so.. I've been watching this stream for a bit now.. It's easy to watch if you catch my drift....

Please do not watch that Steam, watch someone that you'd actually learn something from, Dyrus, Nhat Nguygen, Guardsman Bob, etc. Hell, I wish Chu8 still played League, Maokai up in that ***. He use to rock people mid, hard.

So i enjoy trying new champions and seeing how i do, figuring out how to build them on my own, its fun etc w/e. i picked up swain on sale and just tried him. i play dom only etc w/e dom sucks. I went bot first match because nobody wanted too, i build him straight ap dmg, did terribly lol, was 0/16/0.


Next match went better i built him tanky exactly like i build amumu starting with rod > boots > armor/mr depending, and i destroyed, taking on 3v1's at tower etc. the garen on the other team, basically whole reason for this post, was saying wow its so easy to win with a swain on your team, so op champ.

i felt op, but i have to question is he op? i imagine if he was really op more people would play him, and i rarely ever see him get play'd, along with a lot of other ap champions.

I didn't say I learned anything from her... Lol I just said it's easy on the eyes... and she likes to wear vcuts... I like watching bob... but I like jungling streamers... there are not really any more good ones now ; ;

Swain is good... but not OP... and sounds like you were facing baddies...

thought so lol, o i forgot to mention that in that second match, my team who must of been on vent or something decided to gank bot, but lost our mid and top sooo yeah lol

To help me get started ont he right track, post up you guys opinions on a balanced MF build, items, runes, and masteries please! WOuld help me a lot.

When she's free in the rotation, I usually built:

*Berserker Greaves
*Bloodthirster
*Tear of the Goddess
(I know its not the preferred item for most, but i like this item for all my champs so I cam spam abilities more often)
*Phantom Dancer

Runes I think I used Armor Pen and some ATk Speed (I dont have very many runes atm, saving IP for champs I want first)

Masteries I think I used atk dmg and atk speed.

Flat AD reds, flat armor yellows, flat AD quints > Maybe AS blues

Doran's > Boots > Doran's > Vamp. sceptre > BF > IE > Phantom Dancer > Last Whisper > Bloodthirster > Maybe mallet, maybe QSS > something defensive usually which you can build earlier if needed

And yeah I realize that but like I said its a personal preference of mine, and here lately games havent been lasting long enough to really build what I want as there is usually one douchebag who solo rushes the nexus without saying a word and ending the match in like 15 mins ><

OR we get some dude on Kog'Maw who steals everyones kills, getting 65 kills at the end of the match.

Flat attack damage reds/quints, attack speed blues

BF = BF Sword, IE = Infinity Edge, Mallet = Frozen Mallet, QSS = Quicksilver Sash

I can't remember which blues I usually use. I think it's magic resist per level

I'd try something chalice over tear if you want to spam abilities

miss fortune doesnt really need mana regeneration items, huge waste of gold that will set you back damage wise on midgame.

also startin boots of speed + 3 potions > dorans, always. it allows better lane sustain for the first mins of laning, and gives added mobility for dodging harass/escaping ganks. doran's 3% life steal (and now nerfed 80 hp) isnt really worth getting unless you need a bit of an edge to catch up, or you believe you dont need a bf sword to completely dominate the lane.

it would also be more wise to build a zeal->defensive item before finishing a PD if youre inexperienced with MF. preferably a banshees veil, since its most forgiving mag res item you can get. guardian angel isnt a bad choice either.

ar pen outdamages flat AD runes by level 3, only really need AD quints. armor yellows, and mres blues are a wise choice too. i wouldnt use scaling ones on carries who dont naturally have the scaling MR to begin with, by the time you get their full effect you wont need them.

my final fortune build usually looks like:
infinity
bloodthirster
lastwhisper
berserkers
phantom dancer
and defensive item depending on people im fighting

i.e. QSS for malz and morde and warwick
banshees for stuns and pokes like taric/sion
guardian angel for bruiser heavy teams.

The fact that you suggested the EXACT same build as I did not withstanding (save starting items), I said that they were not good choices, but if he wants to build an item that allows him to have more mana, he should look into a chalice, rather than a tear.

May take you up on that in a little while on my alt account since I dont have Miss Fortune yet and the account I can almost afford her on is like a static account with hers, as in we only play at the same time together. Making lunch for her rq then ill hop on.

new champ is a total dbag. prepare to be mad bro. his ult is a forward charge that damages and taunts the enemies he runs past towards his starting point. he has a move that increases his speed for four seconds and does a knock back on the next attack. so basically you can aoe taunt/damage the enemy team and knock the squishy back out of the pile. plus an aoe attack he can spam and aoe drain.


he's gonna op for a week then nerfed to ***. enjoy while you can!

You'd need to swap out one of those for boots. I'd swap for Chalice lol but if you insist on it, you could go full glass cannon and replace the defensive item.

You can substitute one of the first tier attack points for ignite/exhaust

I go flat attack damage reds for easier last hitting, I believe armor pen will do more damage though.

You could try mana regen yellows instead of chalice

i really wouldnt use it lol unless youre trying to get rid of T1s and T2s
