Mundo can be pretty hard to budge out of lane if you're good with him and have a dedicated rune page for him. He can harass really well too.

easiest learning curve for melee is master yi, mage would be annie, and ranged attacker would be caitlin. they all are pretty forgiving, and easy to learn.
I find no matter how many times I try Caitlyn, I am by far more effective with Miss Fortune and have less trouble being successful with her. I will probably never play Dr. Mundo, speaking of tanks.
I wouldn't call Mundo a tank. :< He's just a brusier who peels people off your carries because CLEAVER TO THE FACE.

Just started playing LoL about a week ago trying to get a idea on some champions to pick up and try out.

Top: Garen/Gangplank/Olaf Overall useful: Kennen
Mid: Brand/Annie Overall useful: Kennen/Morgana/Anivia
AD Rng: Ashe/Sivir overall useful: Kogmaw
Support: Sona/Soraka Overall useful: Sona/Taric/Nunu
Tank/Jungler/AD/etc: Malphite/Udyr/Fiora/Alistar/Shen/ Useful: Amumu/Maokai/Lee sin/Fiddles/Galio(to a point).
First ones I put were easy and good champs that can be used and they can help you learn your role/strats etc pretty well. Useful ones are basically champs that have a higher learning curve but generally they can easily turn the tides in -ANY- team fight. Mainly they offer a lot of AoE/single CC or annoying abilities(ice wall/huge poke range/outrageous hair/ninja status etc)
Ofcourse this is just my opinion and Im sure theyre are more or better ones.

Thank you for all of your input :) ill be sure to check out these champions and see which one best suits me.
