A quick bot game before work turned into this...
Had 1092 AP at the end of the game, learned that+lich bane = 3 shotting inhibitors + turrets.

Yes she is, half off RP only. Some people recommend that I should play more tanky champs, and the closest to that I actually enjoy and am good at is Garen. I think Leona might have some slightly different results, seeing that she actually has a little crowd control might make her a more worthwhile tank. Garen doesn't have any CC so he's fairly easy to ignore late game when everyone can counter his damage with a lot of health.

shes absolutely great at what she does when it comes to an aggressive babysitter/carry lock down if she lets her own carry snowball. shes basically amumu but a far better laner.

Best game to date
Here's my best match of the night or a couple days even. Mid against Malzahar, who I usually have a little trouble with but this time something just clicked and I dominated. I think he might have left about half of the way through the game though.

idk, ive seen some solotop leonas do awesome, even against those sorts of champs
not saying shes the best but she isnt a bad solotop

Never seen a Leona be dominated unless they just suck. Dunno how Riven would out sustain her.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what? So much is wrong with what you said.
3 things make a good solo top
1. innate sustain: i.e. trundle passive, cho's passive, irelia's hiten style etc
2. decent ability to trade blows without getting zoned: champions like this include tryndamere, riven, shyvana, etc
3. decent bulk/survival tools: i.e. tryndamere E, lee sin W, talon R, akali W etc.
leona only has 1 of 3, makes more of a better baby sitter with a carry. her bulk/cc makes for a great aggresive early game, not a solo.
