What an amazing three years it has been! Decided to finally hang up my *MAGICAL* poroggo suit and move on from my adventures in Vana'diel...but, not before snagging a few screenshots. Of all, I have to post this one! It is missing Lillianriana who started with us...but I have to thank Darrc for dragging me into this void that is XI and convincing me way in the beginning it was worth all this time playing (it was thankfully). And Ru (Lillianriana) for making a really great friend who was always down to DRK stuff, where would I be without someone to pick on about DRK being horrible? And I have to shoutout all the peeps who ran through Sages, who have come to be really great friends to me on the game and off...whether they're still traversing Vana'diel or have moved on. And all the peeps at NU2 who further cultivated my remaining memories, thank you! And to the non-LS peeps who I have met, thanks too for an awesome adventure. Idc if you downvote this, but I want this stuck on my profile so I can always link someone to this to tell a story lol. It was great Sylph/Vana'diel! What an amazing three years it has been! This was my third relic (after obtaining Excalibur and Ragnarok before it) and perhaps the most challenging, as much of it was farmed alone - and in a time when the population of Vana'diel is the lowest it's ever been. Thanks to Fellvengeance for the 30pc loan, and Oakarom for helping farm the final leg of stage 5 (Darksavior helped a /w couple runs too!). Also, thanks to twitch.tv/Oakozric for helping keep the grind interesting :) Let's keep FFXI alive! This was my third relic (after obtaining Excalibur and Ragnarok before it) and perhaps the most challenging, as much of it was farmed alone - and in a time when the population of Vana'diel is the lowest it's ever been. Wonders of Travel #4 [Bastok Markets]: Bastok Markets, where 10 years I began my Journey in the world of Vana'diel. Some of my fondest of memories of the game were born here. Bastok Markets, is the center of trade in the nation of Bastok, home of the humes and home to the Galkan race. Bastok, a place where the adventures of new adventurers are born. Thank you so much for the start you've given me which launched my many adventures. And Thank you to those who helped me during my early days here. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! Every time "The Far East" was mentioned in a cutscene, I wished to visit it one day. That wish has come true as part of the beautifully metaphoric "Rhapsodies of Vana'diel". Took me 13 years to finally get this. Only relic I ever really wanted. Past 2 years i haven't been able to play a whole lot due to rl stuff but this is a good way to say goodbye to FFXI. I have met some wonderful people and It has been an honor. Take care Vana'dielTook me 13 years to finally get this. Only relic I ever really wanted.
