Phishing for Trolle. Hello, I post these pics and comments for Trolle, my 5 year old daughter who plays that charater. At 5 she has been playing FFXI for a few months, and can use the xbox interface without error...the pics and the captions are to entice her to read more. Although a high rated vote is always nice, I wouldn't expect most hard core gamers to find these one liners important. Cleared Eald'narche (N) solo on PLD/WHM without Trust NPC's. I was waiting for Vagary to start and needed something to do. Got bored, and thought I'd try for the Stun-SCH body. The actual fight itself is just long, but not necessarily hard. Considering he died within three seconds of timeout, I'm hesitant to call this an accomplishment at all. Anyway, the key is to shield swap for nukes and to TP fast enough to WS at least once per nuke in the final phase before you shield swap again. Also, despite the appearance, all of his TP moves in the final phase are physical, and their effects are negated by blocking. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! A 10 year dream. I love Dark Knight, and I always will. I made this weapon because Scythe has always been my favourite. I couldn't be happier to finish this with some hard work over a few months. It was mostly a solo effort, but I still would like to thank everyone who partied with me for tokens, and anyone who sold alex. Next aim is to get i119 and Job Master. Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . Now I just need to miss an Insurgency entirely and everything will be right with the world. The End.Reminiscing. I often hear “I can’t find a group to do X.” Well personally with my limited playtime as a father of 2, it’s been hard finding groups. So through the use of my Twitch Stream, a group slowly formed and after months of learning, leveling appropriate jobs, learning the fights through bg-wiki notes and accepting we may fail, we cleared our first Ou! It was an awesome achievement and I am looking forward to doing more content with our group!
