It's moments like these which makes FFXI a special game. Where fans of the series can bunch together and overcome obstacles. We grinded for over a year to become strong enough to tackle what the game has to offer. We're not hardcore players, none of us are elitist, we don't show off and we always have time for those who need help. We win and lose like a family. When we lose, we come together to figure out why. I've always hated having to lead stuff, but these guys make it easy. I've always found the best group of players are those who do what you want, before you even thought of asking them too. They take it upon themselves to do what is right given the situation, and that's due to practice, it's due to listening. It's due to wanting the best for everyone there. We don't have a LS bank. We don't have a points system. We don't have hoarders, we pass items/gear to whoeever needs it most. And we're not closed off to the world, we'll take anyone who is willing to do what they can to win. I already said my thanks in our post in the Cerberus sub-forum. So when someone says you need to be on a populated server to make an Aeonic, let it be known that it doesn't matter how many players are on the server, so long as you can find a nice, small group of players who want to succeed, then anything is possible. It might take longer, but the journey is always better than the destination. We wear our Aeonics with pride, and we'll keep going as long as this remains fun. Peace out. I still can't believe I achieved this. I am so excited right now. It was a year ago I first started my journey, having quit in July, I never thought I'd be back to try and finish this off! Thank you to everyone that sold me cheap cinders, and for their support: Sechs, Tamoa, Failaras, Umbrat, Bratgurl, but especially you, Schizogamer. You have helped me out so much, I can never repay you enough. Thanks for believing in me, we did it. <3 I still can't believe I achieved this. I am so excited right now. 4 months in the making and it's finally done!! It's been less stressful than getting a harp to 99! This is possibly because there are a lot of awesome people who helped/kept me company along the way. So thank you all! (I wont name names, you guys know very well who you are. I hate to miss anyone out!!!!) Thanks to the people who helped me get the weapon/odin done to start the quest, thanks to people who did assaults with me (and nagged me to go when tags are up), thanks to people who took me to T3/odin2 runs for ichors, thanks for the NI tokens, thanks for assaults help, thanks for taking my merc service so i can buy my alexes! thanks for people selling me cheap alexes and bought alexes to sell me. So many people to thank for all their support through all of the farming/trials etc. over the years, I don't think I can fit them all in here. A special thank you to Transitioneer and Miyara without whom I don’t think I would have ever came close to finishing this goal,(or even still be playing this game at all). I can finally say that I am done with monk!I would have never imagined that one day I would own all of these, but I have finally completed this goal I've had for quite some time now. Since the viability of Trust-soloing third-wave Arciela on SCH came up, I actually had an opportunity to test it out and I can say for certain it's entirely possible. Cast helices based on the day into Ascension or Descension, not against them and use NPC's that complement you tanking as opposed to an NPC tank. She has not one single physical source of damage, so she cannot hurt you if you keep Regen on. It didn’t take very long for August to bite the dust. As for her choice of Naakuals, I got Kumhau twice, and one of Colkhab and Yumcax, which explains why my NPC's are all dead. Ever since SE introduced [Dancer] as a job in this amazing game, I Knew I must be a career Dancer.. It had a rough start for sure like any new job, and was always branded the underdog of classes. Its versatility is overwhelming, you can become a healer, a damage dealer and a support all at the same time. Its solo capability was amazing and I couldn't resist the temptation of "trying" to solo tough content on my Own to see what I can do. This job is just perfect in so many ways and I'm so glad SE decided to give it the credit that it deserves, it really needed that! I love this Job and will always come back to this game because of it! So many people to thank for all their support through all of the farming/trials etc. over the years, I don't think I can fit them all in here.
