What I do is to simply take a screenshot of something that interests me. Afterwards I open it with Adobe Lightroom, and adjust exposure, hightlights, lights, darks, shadows, vibrance, saturation, etc etc to suit my taste. I'll often add a bit of blur, manually through brushes, in layers, or easier radial blurs like you see in this pic. :)

You can get some pretty good adjustments to the look of the game tweaking Nvidia control panel(idk about AMD.) Config plugin is nice too.
