So the price of a pure commodity item went through the roof when the demand went through the roof? I believe this is called economics. I could be wrong.

Nobody HAD to have GEO the first day. Those who did paid the price for commodity.

If the price is too high, people could have simply waited till the price dropped or obtained this item through other means.

This is just good business. I'm rather jealous I didn't think of it.

Anyone going to bring up the fact that the same person who bought up everything for 3-4k sold them all again at a higher price. Call it economics if you want, but I call /that/ being a dickbag. I'm just surprised no one saw the pattern on the AH history and kept buying from them. :o
