You are right that I could have one in inventory and hence it wouldn't drop.
So that means I have every scrolls he drops in my inventory and all of them are Rare?
Also, I'd totally farm down there if I had a scroll already... Logic is wonderful.

Side note, I have dozen of SS's of Taxim pool with no scrolls droping. He's not 100% droping a scroll, period.

Um... if a scroll was sitting in his inventory, wouldn't the dropped scroll just be sitting in the treasure pool? Or it would have dropped and said "you are unable to obtain this item?"

I did not think that scenario could make an item *not drop*

Not saying you're right or wrong, but just so it's out there, this proves nothing. Blizzaga III is Rare...you could've had one in inventory and this would've been guaranteed to happen.

Again, not implying anything. Just, you're doing it wrong.
