I think I know what happened here. I remember SE saying they were adding some sort of assistance from campaign npc's if you called for help on regular mobs (probably cause people kept getting owned by goobues in rolanberryfields). My guess is someone got aggroed, claimed and called for help then when the NPC took hate they zoned and the call for help status reverted. well thats my guess anyway.

Normal Mobs of the same Beastmen Family link with Campaign mobs, and once they hit a Campaign NPC, they are on the NPCs Hate list, same as if we hit a Campaign mob with no tags on.
