One of the most cost effective munitions you can find near/at end game. Not to mention a nice DPS rating. As for those of us who craft, its a great profit tool currently (08/11/08) cost for 12 quivers is about 28k on odin (including crystal and lumber cost, this is FULL cost of production) seling for 50k, so easy double of gil right there. Also if your like me, you prefer to ensure a source of income, and by doing a simple /sea all rng you can find all the rngs in the correct lvl range and invite them to purchase from you privately for a discount of AH price. (I usualy do at least 10% below and have insured myself a steady flow of return customers, this tactic works great for financing your crafting needs.)
Undercutting is part of the economy, people do it everywhere (real and in-game). Eventually the undercutting drives other people away from a particular item so less people do it, which allows the price to gradually increase again.
Supply and demand, demand pretty much stays the same so if you decrease the supply the price goes up. ^_^
i know this will bring me a bomb of Score down but idc, i agree with Goldmember.
stop undercutting items and just wait 1 maybe 2 days for these to sell they are on "Fast" rate so they will sell. if you ppl keep undercutting crafting just wont be worth it anymore, sad thing bc some of us keep us from buy nice equipment for leveling 1 or 2 craft levels.
i know gilsellers messed up farming and some ppl messed up NMs so plz try to keep crafting as it is :(
Pair up with a clothcrafter who is skilling up on black chocobo fletchings and you can both come out as winners. The fletchings, at least on Hades, aren't selling nearly as fast as the quivers that could be made with them, and these quivers can be made at a profit even without HQs.
What do you expect? Each time the price rises again, everyone and their dog starts to mass produce these and you will see 20 stacks on the AH, of course people will undercut.
I'm sorry you wont get your 40k profit margin on these, but it's all to blame that you were dumb enough to make 10 stacks of them at one time along with everybody else.
Now stop whining or GTFO.
its funny how someone that dont even have a craft can tell someone else what to sell it for if you dont like the price buy something else "lokodi" in your words there better stuff so why you crying about this price. if you want a lower price level you WW and lower it.
This item is being overproduced. The sell speed has dropped to average now and it takes days to sell a stack, sometimes they will expire because there is too much in stock. The problem? Rangers are now having to pay 75~80k a stack and that isn't good for the rng thus, they are buying less arrows now. Many RNGs I have talked too have told me they are refusing to buy these because the prices is much too high these days. The solution? Perhaps setting the price down lower so we can reclaim the rangers confidence.
You guys are rediculous! With the expansion of levels more people will be using ammunition. Instead of prices staying constant or going up, you idiotic crafters have decided to nose dive a very profitable product. Good thing goldsmithers aren't as stupid as woodwookers
