@Tidis the markup is because of the fact that this synth utilizes Imperial Tea Leaves, not Windurstian Tea Leaves. Imp. Leaves are notoriously tedious to obtain in sufficient number, and if you study the sale history, rarely more than a stack of these are HELMed a day on phoenix. Rare ingredients, for a bulk use (lvl 75~ synth) item dictates that the price will be astronomical. So QQ.

I'll probably get rated down for this but, on Asura leathercrafters are definitely taking the mick selling these at 950k/stack.

Marid Hides are 30k/stack and easily farmed in either Aht Urghan or Abyssea but somehow they justify a 30x markup price, come on.

I'd rather cap my leathercraft sub, with guild support I'd succeed most synths anyway.

As for imperial tea leaves, now available from the green thumb moogle after raising a karakul.

No excuses anymore leathercrafters, stop screwing people over.
