Extremely useful for Maat fight for any of the jobs mentioned above, i used this as THF and it drastically recuded the amount of damage done to me by a large fraction, this shield + Tavnazian Taco = 50 damage a hit as opposed to 150 a hit.
Definitely a very useful shield with a plan.
Use right before entering battle as the Phalanx status doesn't last very long.
Works great for sacrifice pulls in dynamis. ^^
