To Those Who Play FPS

I cant say i didnt have fun playing CoD 4 when it came out, i did have fun online. But the gameplay just isnt as deep, so is the community. Also, these games revolve around achievment, thing that was totally unheard of in the games featured in tournaments nowadays.
Even if they had tournament, i dont think it would last, the game is way too flat in comparison to other FPSs present on the scene.

I tried UT3 and I couldn't stand it personally. People are able to run around way too fast. Aiming was hell.

Back in the days breaking 30% acc or even reaching it was considered godly. So ... ya :/

No dedicated servers = no tournament worth. I still enjoy MW2 but it's not suited for pure competitive play simply because of this fact.

That is also true in MW2 which you have contempt for (as all PC gamers seem to have contempt for consoles... idk why, I have both and I much prefer consoles for almost everything).

I have nothing against consoles but i highly dislike "FPSs" on consoles nowadays.
I used to play Q3A on DC, UT also. Now lets compare these two to MW2 and BF2, we can even try to compare them again in 10 years, the result will be the same.

I'm not really a PC gamer, i like both, i just believe that console are awesome for a certain kind of game while PC is awesome for an other kind and in my opinion, the FPSs coming out on console since 10 years are trash compared to PC old standards. Its even more true when they have also a PC version and the said version is FAR from reaching the minimum requirement to feature in tournament and even worse, last more than 6months in term of being interesting.

back in the day i heard fps players loved to whip it out and measure their peens... so do it ... wimps..

oh wait.. you played ffxi first then fps games second... no one needs that embarrassment....

In fairness Quake and Unreal are a different type of FPS than MW2.

Different kind i agree but they still play in the same league, FPS.

I tend to find FPS games a lot more enjoyable if you play with friends and get a good squad going. Lone wolfing can get boring after a while.
