Can someone who has completed thier Raden test it with a high end ws build with bonus atk? For example hachiryu haidate, byrnie 1, Cerberus 1 or Foragers, Rutters, and the same old str build stuff, it seems to me like you would need to change your ws build to push more atk with the increase of base damage. I may be wrong but I would like to see some more testing done with this GK if possible. Also could you tell what your WS build was? Thanks
The attack boost is not related to TP, so if you cap attack with Hagun then you will with the new GKT and at this point a full STR build is the best way.
If you aren’t capping attack then yes, due to the higher base damage of the new GKT, the effect of STR will be diminished slightly, so may change the point where attack is better than STR. But not in a massive way.
The OAT GKT may need more accuracy in its WS build as the second hit is unlikely to benefit from the acc boost on the WS.

lolSoboro is better than Hagun when you're meleeing fultime. >_>
Who's ever doing that as sam? lol
a sam that wants to deal damage.
Full time DDing? as in never weapon skilling? Because that is the only way the lolsoboro is better than the hagun lol.
You're misreading and you're wrong. Meleeing fulltime = engaged and dealing damage, both TP and WS phase are in play. From a straight DPS standpoint Soboro can beat Hagun, but given SAM's access to polearm there's the potential for TP feed issues.
The two people who argued for Soboro doing damage don't have a Hagun in their equipment history. Made me laugh.
Not having Hagun does what for my argument exactly? Just because I don't have it, doesn't mean I don't understand how it works. I've seen (and done) the math. And it's honestly not as ZOMG worthy as everyone makes it out to be. It's what? About 5% stronger than Onimaru?
No Onimaru in your equipment history and you're arguing Hagun does damage. Made me laugh.
Surprised there's no Onimaru in my equipment history, as I used one before my Hagun. And you just said that Hagun is better than Onimaru, so what's the point of not getting a Hagun?
EDIT: Just checked my equipment history, suprise, Onimaru is there. Might want to try harder next time.
The ones i like: Radennotachi DMG:89 Delay:450
Straight up damage, seems decent especially for a meikyo gk
644>645>646>652>653>654 (10 krabkatoa shells) Kurodachi DMG:68 Delay:464 Occasionally attacks twice
sweet a higher damage multi-attack gk, however its only twice, instead of 2~3x such as soboro, hard to tell but i might just go for it, i happen to love this model of GK also
658>659>672>673>674>675 (Thunder weather kills, qutrub x200) Efunotachi DMG:81 Delay:437 DEX+4 Accuracy+12
i think this would be badass... dex and acc, totalling to 15 accuracy on a sword, i think it would be a very valid weapon for askar sams... i might just get one of these for hi-eva mobs.. but still omg.. the only downside is 81 damage :/
