i decided to uninstall it and reinstall it well i install it all the way then it tells me it didnt install... anyone else have this problem or is it just some stupid thing wrong with my xbox?

yea just did and it just said i needed to re-reinstall POL and that will just make me reinstall ffxi also

I had that same problem...

Uggh I had to do all this crap, I had to remove the image off the CD with alcohol 120 and make like my own installation file..it was a pain ;; buuut it fixes it ; ;

What exactly did you do?
What's not working?
Is it stopping mid way through?
Is it fully installing but not working?
What error messages do you get?

i really hope i dont gotta do that ^^;; ill try to delete it off my HD again and then see what happens with all that maybe it just some files that are messed up :(

lets start from the first ....

i uninstalled final fantasy from my xbox,
i reinstall it and go to get the updates and i says its not installed,
it doesnt stop mid way,
and yes its fully installed,
i dont know the message it just says that ffxi hasnt been installed

hope that works out :) if you need any more details then just let me know

oh i have had this happen, but all i did was to uninstall POL and install it again and it worked.

ive had to buy two different sets of disks to install ffxi, half work the other half dont of the first set.. then second set half work.. and the other half dont.. between the two i get a full install... it might be your disks ... a fluke of sorts..only thing else i can suggest is to wipe your xbox HD.. that might help

ty for all your replys :) i uninstalled then reinstalled EVERYTHING and now it seems to act like its working ^^ so hope it does :)
