The Witcher games have some of the best immersive atmospheres games have to offer at the moment and the songs help a ton towards that:
The best part about this next song is that the full song doesn't play in game all the time while in the tavern (as far as I remember, it's been a while). There's certain bard NPCs that have instruments and play at random times alone or all together (whenever they feel like it I guess lol) so their instruments in the song only play when the npcs are playing the instruments which is really cool. The music is directional too so if you're in the other room to the bards then it'll sound like it's coming from over there and not at yourself.
