You meet the best people at anime conventions swear, I seem to make at least make one friend every time I go to Otakon, without even trying o.O The costumes make it easier to talk to people.

Oh psh, even if you're not dressing up, you can talk to others that are =p I'm shy as hell, but don't mind dressing up or anything, I usually chat others up that are cosplaying.

Quote is being stupid, thank you =3 and you don't even have to like anime to go, theres other things there, I go more for the costumes and the gamer room/dealers room than anything. The costumes others wear can make it easier to talk to people, even if you're not cosplaying. When I met my boyfriend, it was cause he was a neko and every neko we saw [my cousin was with me] got glomped and we just kept chatting with him and his friends, the ears were an icebreaker! lol

My boyfriend dated an uberly flamboyant guy before I met him, he was literally nicknamed the queen and how ANYONE could stand him is beyond me >.> He was that super prissy, might as well be a girl kinda gay guy, might as well date a girl if you're into guys like that, at least thats my opinion, but then again thats how I feel about girls XD if you're that masculine, I might as well just find a guy >.>

there was a guy who worked at pfy (pride for youth; like a lgbt teen "safe" hangout place near me). a few weeks ago, someone stole his ipod and he went APE ***. he called the police and quit his job. he had a total *** fit. it was actually kind of funny.
