Hits hardest when you least expect it!
Breakups do the same thing too, though. ._.;

Yeah. My several breakups over the years and other such things hurt me a LOT. I feel for anyone suffering like that. :(

I'm three months into break-up recovery. :/
It's easier now, but only because I'm entertaining the prospect of a relationship on par with anime I've been watching lately. :P

Lawl, I've never been in a relationship! :3
Partly because I am DEADLY afraid of confessing my love because I enjoy them. :)
Secondly, it REALLY hurts losing someone special in your life, at this point, I don't think I could handle another emotional burden.

Edit: (to resume the topic from the previous page, yall are posting up a storm lol^^)
The effect of skin color on reproduction generally ranges from neutral (no effect within the general population) to positive (increased prospects of reproduction among the specific population characterized by the same skin color).
The effect of homosexuality on reproduction generally ranges from neutral (when some homosexual individuals manage to pass on their genes) to negative (most commonly; when they do not).
In the scenario that homosexuality is some recessive genetic trait, considering that homozygous recessive individuals (those whose phenotype is "gay") have a general tendency not to reproduce, what would be the effect on the population over time ? Would the number heterozygous "carriers" be enough to perpetuate the recessive allele ?

I've been using that excuse to avoid trying again, but being in a relationship is a really nice feeling. ^-^
I miss it. ._.;

Jimu! >:[
(Haha, maybe skin colour wasn't a good example. :c)
I dunno how to properly support my opinion, however, if this "gay gene" does exist, it has managed to live through two millenniums and it has to be doing something properly along with all the other genetic alterations. ._.;
Or it simply doesn't exist! D:

lol, i think it's a gene :\ or possibly a mutation. I mean, i feel the same way that it's not the deciding factor, but i feel that it has a lot more influence than you guys do. even the basis of personality is genetic (that is the basis and only the basis. For the most part it's completely environmental).
Also, only in my experience though, but i find that a lot of gay people have gay relatives :\ i may be wrong, but just what i've seen
also, i kissed one guy :D but it sucked. lol. i still sure i like men though xD

I don't see it as an emotional burden. Yes, it sucks to lose someone or go through a breakup, but you do come out of it stronger and a better person. I think the mistake people make is that they see happiness as a destination rather than a journey. Life flies by so fast that you don't realize the brief happy moments you do have (even in relationships that don't work out in the end) are what make the pain all worth it.

I either have extremely bad luck or that doesn't hold true with my family. I'm the only gay one in my extended family that I know about, excluding distant relations. Under my grandparents, I'd say that's about 40-50 people or so. Some of my cousins may be in the closet, but no one has indicated to me.

well i was just saying in my experience. i'm sure there are other people who's experiences skew far from mine. i know that one of my cousins is gay. and there are a few whom i suspect (i did things with them when we were younger LOL). I wouldn't be surprised if my mom were bi but hid it and went all "NO GO TO HELL! LIKE PENIS!". My bi friend has maybe 2 gay uncles. another gay friend has a gay cousin. just a few examples

; ; Perfectly normal.
I think girls are attractive, yet I'm not sexually interested in them. For one guy to openly admit that another guy is attractive is a pretty secure and confident thing to do. :)
\o/ Yay, I feel somewhat better now.
At least I can say I -have- kissed a guy before. ~.~ Dear Edward. We should hang out.

Nothing wrong with experimentation. I kissed a girl at a party once and didn't get anything from it. i can't really kiss a girl it gives me the yuks, im so gay haha, however 2 guys kissing turns me on instantly lol, it's so sexy and manly/hot and weird and rare to seen

Just curious to see how many of us actually play FFXI. **Now, let's try to keep this clean, please don't respond if you have nothing nice to say.** :] Don't be shy, speak up! :D
EDIT: You don't have to be gay to post in here, if you want to be apart of our conversations.. feel free to join in! Don't be shy, we don't bite.. well some of us do! :] Anyyyyyways~! This thread has become a home to many from the LGBT community & even some from the straight community who are open minded and enjoy chit-chatting with us, :] so let's keep it drama free, we deserve a place where we can be ourselves without being made fun of/harassed.
