but I lovez me some PUP and my hat makes me look like a sexy taru Joker or Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon (especially with my wedding Tux)
Lol I just finished my first upgrade on legs, I'll probably start working on my head seals this week. Need to work on my fame though, however you're supposed to raise that.

A serious question to the Homosexual. (not the heterosexual)
Are men or women born gay or is it developed over time? or different for each individuals with feelings for the same sex? I never understood this way of thinking and yet no one has explained it either.

I suppose you could also ask, are people born straight or does it develop over time. I guess there just comes a point in your life when you start having certain feelings for other people, whether they be the same sex or the opposite, I doubt it`s genetic, feel free to correct me because im totally guessing, I don't think anyone could really have an answer for this.

I think we are taught to be gay or straight but just wanted a legit response to the gay question^^

I was never "taught" to be gay.
I have two older brothers, both into sports, girls etc. I grew up around that kind of thing but yet I'm gay.
I myself have known I was gay since I knew what being gay was. I don't think that(for me) I was taught to be gay, or cared for differently then my brothers in a way that would make me like men.
On the one hand, I don't think any of us can point to a specific thing in our lives that "made us gay." On the other hand, it doesn't make a lot of sense to think of homosexuality as being a purely genetic phenomenon; I mean, I can't think that being gay made anyone more likely to reproduce at any point during history. Plenty of reasons that we wouldn't reproduce, of course. ;)
The truth of the matter is that homosexuality has existed across a wide variety of species throughout the history of life on this planet. There is evidence that suggests the "cause" is genetic. There is evidence that suggests that it's environmental. There is also evidence that seems to refute both of these ideas. Anyone who claims to know for sure is probably lying. :/

I say born that way. If you think about it, look at all the crap people get for being gay/lesbian, would you choose to be hated and have people think horribly of you? Its definitely not a choice or something that can be taught. I couldn't teach someone to be gay, any easier than someone could be taught to be straight.

Very interesting thoughts! I feel a bit enlightened now. On another hand did you know that if what the bible says about Adam and Eve we all are in some form of incest? (unless of course what the bible says is uncorrect and inaccurate and other people existed at the time that we shouldnt know about?) please think before you reply

I can't say I've read or know much about the bible, other than it being rewritten many times by humans and thus written the way they wanted it and probably not as god actually intended. But if Adam and Eve were the first and only people to have existed, then yes, we're all screwing our relatives basically lol.

Actually ジム, during the Victorian Era, many gay men would usually have families to have an alibi for proceeding accusations of such a "vile action against humanity". In a way, this era was similar to the Salem Witch trials in the sense that false accusations could be pulled up without question. i.e. She's a witch! I saw her flying!; He's a homosexual! I saw him [CENSORED ;)]!
Lesbians, on-the-other-hand, were considered to be nonsexual and rather pet-like so essentially, they were nonexistent! D: For example, that's why the vampire novel Carmilla was allowed to proceed with it's publishing and it fulfilled bachelor's fantasies! (Wankers -_-)
Personally, I've never had any fateful event that "made me gay", however, I've always had a penchant to the human body and all it's perfection. This, however, was more geared to the body of males. :c
In any-case, I'm just a hopelessly romantic pre-medical student who, in his opinion, lacks self-confidence and knows that a "good" relationship is one that gradually takes place over time. Although, certain catalysts like proximity, sexual encounters, and aesthetic appeal speed up the chemical cocktail of emotions, it's something that many are prohibited from experiencing. I guess even with 6.9 (arguably 7.0-7.1) billion people in the world, it is incredibly difficult finding "the one". :/

The Bible, in my opinion, shouldn't be taken literally. It was, again in my opinion, a guide book not a book of laws. Stories written in the bible are essentially myths that instill morals into it's believers. Although I am a man of both religion and science, I know, by science, that the first Homo sapiens were not white and the Earth was not created 5700-10,000 years ago.
Although, I do believe in a heavenly creator and I believe he sacrificed something for us whether it be his human incarnation or even his time, I don't necessarily believe in the humans whom "follow" this creator. I mean, your creator is not going to tell you, "Kill X,Y, and Z for they are sinful!". Again, this is solely my opinion.
Wtf? Why am I ranting?! D: Gotz 2 studeh! D: Ciao~

worry not Kailana, i was just being a jerk. looking at how many pages this thread has and decided to enter my own humor that no one else finds funny.... another instance of my humor would be driving by my friend's house while he was having members of glibc or whatever the acronym is build a float for a parade and shouting unhappy words. then pulling into the driveway and exiting the vehicle with 2 other men in a threatening manner, only to give a big hug to the big gay hairy man and proceed to skip around and offer to help with the carpentry. (i do not do this anymore, ever since state law changed and i could be shot on site for such an offense)

[ If you think about it, look at all the crap people get for being gay/lesbian, would you choose to be hated and have people think horribly of you?
this will probably not end well, but case in point is Christianity outside of the "bible belt" in the USA. and i mean real Christianity, not what you have probably experienced (if you are not a Christian).

Definitely not Christian, but I've seen that from all kinds of people, not just a specific religion. My own mother [not sure she even had a religion] freaked out when I told her I was bi, long story with her. I've avoided the bible belt area [unless MD now falls under it too ><] because the people down there are usually crazy or I'm related to them, which is even worse >.>
