According to the most recent announcements, most of the issues that are causing the bad reviews are gonna get ironed out in the next couple months. Don't let people's judgments get your hopes down!

As with all new releases, you can't expect a perfect game. Just give it time. Even with all the issues and bugs right now, I enjoy XIV and plan on continuing to play it; and even may consider quitting XI for it. Just not as much life in XI and it's struggling to keep my interest.

I enjoyed the break I took away from xi. It made it seem enjoyable when I came back.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm sorta new to the game and the FFXI community. And I've never been "out" in a MMORPG before. So I thought it would be cool to.. you know.. be myself. Haha

I played with you in campaign once. I referred to you as "the infamous and legendary dasva of ffxiah.com notoriety" and you went all "!!!"
Then I used my mnk to begin beating up a yagudo mob in sauromugue champaign campaign and I didn't realize you were kite/nuking it, and this little adorable taru comes up and goes MY MOB!!!! and I lol'd.
Beyond this I dunno if we had much interaction.
