I got my boyfriend into this game and he quit 2 months ago technically, though I'd been playing his char when I needed it, a few people have questioned my reasons for quitting.

Most of my friends have either quit completely, quit for 14 or changed servers, wheres the fun in playing if you have no one to play with?

Theres nothing to do in game for me, endgame bores me, I can't party for long or do long events, so that leaves me with nothing to do.

Quitting saves me a good 30 bucks almost and since I've got a baby on the way, it makes sense to stop wasting money on something that gets no use, right?

If I was a mindless sheep, then I'd be on 14 with everyone else, my boyfriend is considering playing it, I'm not. If I need something to play, I can reactivate my content ID for 11. I don't see why someone who doesn't even know me, has to try to "attack" me for quitting, just because the first reason you see, isn't a reason you'd quit for.

It's true. ; ; It was level 10 yesterday, solo'd to 12 and wanted to punch someone. Was lfp for an AFB as a Level Synch, then got an invite or Dunes. My friend PL'd me for an hour then I had to leave for Einherjar. Got it to 15. I just want it 30 already!

Hi everyone.^^ So yesterday I was doing research for a paper and I came across this article. I feel like it really does a good job explaining what makes marriage so meaningful to us as people.

This is pulled from a 33-page discourse on the concept of "belongingness," which Drs. Baumeister and Leary describe as a fundamental human need that is trumped only by things like food and shelter. Marriage, then, serves the profoundly important function of meeting this fundamental human need.

I think this nicely spells out what is, in my mind, one of the most important justifications for gay marriage. In our society (ideally speaking), marriage is the final gesture of mutual trust, understanding, and "belonging" between two people. It uniquely satisfies a well-researched need – the need to belong – that is fundamental to our nature as human beings, and is therefore a choice that everyone should have.

Just wanted to let ya'll know Fou and I have been doing alright and we hope you are all doing well too.

I've been back in the saddle of FF11 now that I'm getting back some downtime again, attending Abyssea-crack whenever I get the opportunity. However the thing that has been a challenge is this update. So many new items popped up that the Salvage, Limbus and possible Dynamis groups will be on "freeze" or stop altogether. Personally it sucks for me mainly because I'm next in line on a few things, whereas others they are being replaced with items, which can be bought but I'm sitting on a mountain of points in some of them.

I can't fuss about it too much since this is a blessing in disguise I guess. What lies in the future though is anybody's guess with Abyssea and Walk of Echos. Plus all this free time now is an opportunity for me to level my subs and Blue Mage.

Also I preordered 14. Now I know I said I wouldn't quit 11 to jump on 14. That hasn't changed. When I feel the time comes to change or when the servers shut down completely then I will hop on 14 permenantly. It would be easier both for me and for my wallet this way.

Anyhoo I hope ya'll are doing ok.
