Aye, I believe "attention ***" is a bit of an understatement with her, but too true. Attention is especially hard to come by when a parent is basically raising the same kid eight times over, as opposed to one kid at a time (one 6 year old, one 3 year old, one 18 month old, etc.)

My kids are going to be almost 3 years apart, they'll get individual time with me and their father, whereas someone with that many so close together, will just end up getting attention from siblings, not parents. Octomom is the Paris Hilton of the parent world, does stupid stuff to get attention, without care or worry for others.

Siblings, and grandparents should not have to raise children. If you have to get to that point, you have a problem, and I'd suggest cutting back on whatever it is that youre doing, or finding alternative means of doing what you need to do. I agree, the siblings will grow up and can raise kids then, the grandparents have already raised their kids, if someone wants to reproduce, well they need to take on the responsibilities not shove them off on everyone else, I also agree that kids should come first, I've been preaching this at my cousin the last 8 weeks, shes so upset with losing her freedom and being uncomfortable in the last weeks of pregnancy, shes been trying to get her daughter to come since 32 weeks. Way to put her kid first -.-, shes already talking about rushing to hang out with friends at the club and such, as soon as this baby is born, it saddens me.

Couple of my friends from high school have had kids -- hate saying this, but a few of them, I'm not surprised with, but anyhoo -- and even the few I expected to do that kind of thing, turn around and go right out to clubs and bars and the like, have actually done the responsible thing and taken care of their kids. Only been a handful of times that I know of that they've had to have someone else watch them, but that's to be expected, but otherwise, they have absolutely put their kids first without a doubt. Some people just have that instinct and the pregnancy matures them and gets them to see what the hell is up, while others just don't care, which is really unfortunate.

Go team! I've got between 1 and 3 in the cards, and even then, it's not going to happen until after the sex change, after I get a really damn good job, and a girlfriend. So we're looking at at least 10 years. I think I've got plenty of time.

Many of my friends that had kids, surprised me by growing up and doing the right thing, however there are some that just make me want to slap them, I have no objection to going out sometimes, but 3-4 nights a week? Bit much, I've gone to the club 4 times since I've been pregnant [with my daughter] and twice I was still pregnant WITH her when I went [3 months and 8 months] I got bored and went home lol, after I had her, I wanted to spend time with her, not sitting at a club getting ignored by friends who didn't have kids. I still think you should have to pass a test to be a parent >.> you need to pass a driving test to drive, why not some kinda parenting test to parent?

That's kind of the spot I'm in. I'm MtF pre-op, so I could actually have my own, but the problem therein is either doing it with my girlfriend before the operations, freezing some and doing it after, or adoption. I'm open to all three, though just not so much the first.

I'd say try one artificial, just for the whole pregnancy/birthing experience. The parenting forum I'm on, theres one lesbian couple, they're expecting their 4th now using that method.

Hm, I'd say second and third options are best, you want to be done with and happy with who you are before attempting the adoption/pregnancy part, plus you don't seem to keen on the first option lol.
