If you don't, they will crawl into your ear and lay eggs that hatch and find their way to your brain. Step 2, find a new boyfriend because yours is a sissy. I just leave them be; they don't bother anyone and take care of the more annoying little bugs anyway.
Those are harmless but the one u do want to avoid are the "trap door" spiders...brown short legged and their bite can aand most likely will give u a dose of cellulitis...sister and friends were jogging on the beach and during a rest break one of these critters bit her..a day or 2 later she was in emergency room and the swelling was outrageous...u can prevent many critters from crashing at ur home with raising venus flytraps..keeps ur home bug free and easy as hell to take care of.
alrighty, thanks :)
You want to see a scary spider, find a Hobo spider. I get those in my house during summer time and compared to most spiders they're huge.
I've doused them with Raid and other bug spray and they seem mostly unaffected by it. Creepy, quick and very nasty poisonous bites. Daddy Long Legs got nothing on em. Bahamut.Zorander said: Just google..poisonous spiders in florida If its' a Recluse your basically screwed.. That's not a recluse, no way. That's a daddy longlegs, probably the most helpful spiders to have around the house. They eat bugs for you and the bite doesn't do ***even if it does manage to get you, but they usually don't give a ***either. You're safe. Recluses have shorter, thicker legs; bigger, longer bodies; and a fiddle shape on their head. ![]() Even recluses aren't that bad though, since they're pussies and don't bite very often. An actual recluse crawled up my leg once to get away from my cat. I know it was a recluse because when I brushed it off, I examined it for a little bit while my cat kept chasing it around and poking it. I smashed it before it could bite anything, looked it up, and lo and behold, exact match. It was even hiding inside of an old speaker when my cat found it, apparently that's one of their favorite hiding spots. Edit: further reading says that's a myth or disagreed upon? Dunno, but we have those around here. Killed one in my house a couple weeks ago. They're daddy long legs like others have stated, they come a bunch a versions, and live all around north america, the one's in cali are much smaller then the ones on the east coast (new york) they can't do anything to you other then bother you. You would soooo know if they recluse, those are very hard to mistake for anything else besides recluse.
Edit: look up wolf spiders if you wanna see some big and nastiest XD I live in cali and they're all over the place.
I just learned to live with them. Kujata.Azenor said: Garuda.Hypnotizd said: Kujata.Azenor said: ![]() thought this was a daddy long leg? guess thats true. Im from Michigan so that's what our daddy long legs look like. Our Daddys can beat up your Daddys! I live in Michigan as well... You grow up around them here, so no big deal... If you want to see more of these kind of spiders, just go into a crawl space(under house) in an older house. Tons of them^^ I do very much dislike Wolf Spiders and Banana Spiders... If you look closely the spiders the OP posted have a different body structure from that of a daddy long-leg. It's a damn Momma long-leg lol
![]() Anyway all lame jokes aside; the scientific name is Pholcidae. You can read about them on the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pholcidae Long-jawed orb-weavers are way more creepy to me; they look similar to female daddy long-legs. Brown Recluse, very deadly ***.

And I'm only aware of two poisonous spiders in FL. (I live here too and scared of the ***.) Widows. (Brown, red, and black.) And recluse. (brown and chilean.) So, no. Doesn't look like it's poisonous, just smush it. I hate spiders, creepy little *** they are.
Pandemonium.Thanquol said: For everyone that is scared of spiders... Here is one basic rule of nature... Small Creatures don't eat Big Creatures!!! I know! But it doesn't matter! I'm terrified of spiders and I live in Maine, where it's not that common to see a big one (and they're still way smaller than me! lol) lmao at that "pubic hair" picture. ![]() Not many people have the balls to do that; I sure don't. Creepy Banana spiders! When I was little I ran into a Banana spider Web, the *** bit me on the forehead. Bad experience ; ; Doesn't anyone realize that spiders get rid of the other unwanted pests in the house? Pests like ants, flies, mosquitoes, roaches, etc.
Let the spider live! yeah, but spiders are the ones that are freakishly huge with bright colors or hairy appendages, that makes them creepy.
