The more I think about, Invader Zim did had some pretty good animation, wonder why it was canceled

It was canceled in America way earlier than anywhere else. Think it was because of a scene in an episode that like resembled 9/11... I cant remember very well. Among other reasons, people thought it was too dark/graphic, and it also didn't hit the key demographic it was expected to have, of 9-12 year olds. Appealed more to teens and adults.
Either way I loved it.

Some of the episodes were pretty graphic.

I re-call one episode he was going around a school sucking kids intestines out of them, to do something. Can't remember, but that is the reason why.

I could be wrong but i think Invader Zim was cancelled for being "too weird", I personally love Zim :P

Invader Zim. best by a long shot.

Invader Zims creator had some issues with Nick I do believe. I think he didnt want anything to do with it anymore or something..It was a good show while it lasted.


But everybody knows this is the best cartoon to come out in forever and a day. I didnt want to watch it at first because I was like "phssaw, American anime nerdz" but I fell in love with after my little sister kept watching it.

I like some 90s cartoons too (Angry beavers and classic rugrats hokay) but the 2000s had good stuff too. Not everything in the 90s was uber wonderful, I hated Ren and Stimpy..and nearly all live action shows on nick and zomg Johnny Bravo was attrocious.

I liked the classic Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom and Jimmy Nuetron...and for some strange reason Ill admit to some sort of like..for Flapjack...

The worst was Teen Titans, goddang I never understood why it was appealing..it was the reason I never wanted to see avatar.

on the same note I dont like Ben10 either.

This, and Undergrads as well. Whats worse is that both of them were cancelled on cliffhangers.

I'm a sucker for superhero/DC stuff so I'd say the two Justice League shows.

Can't say I'm a fan of Avatar, but it definitely was a step in the right direction too.

Flapjack is just great though. I don't know the correct terms for it, but the show has the best examples of nightmare fuel and freaky facial expressions without giving off that "OMG SO RANDUM XDDD" vibe. Tons of stuff in there that makes you wonder how it got past the censors (the show makes a helluva lot more sense when you realize candy is a substitute for alcohol) too. It's like Ren and Stimpy except good.
