Although, I disagree with you on several points, this was still an entertaining read.
I basically concur with the following statements:
1) Having a degree in ANYTHING doesn't mean ***anymore. Sorry, kiddos.
2) Obama's been in office for one year, cleaning up an 8 year mess left by Bush and his administration. I don't even think a magical wand could remedy that.
3) Kids straight out of high school really don't know what they're getting themselves into when they sign up for the military. (On a side note, my co-worker's son-in-law said he couldn't complete college because it was too hard, so he decided to sign up for the Marines. Epic lulz ensued when she told us he didn't make it past boot camp.)
4) Cat pictures are valid everywhere.
5) Fox News is not fair and balanced.
6) Sarah Palin is a retard, and if John McCain really wanted to win the election, he would've picked someone who wouldn't walk out of the middle of her term as governor. (Because being governor is hard...Vice Presidency is sooooo much easier, amirite?)
7) If you knowingly choose not to vote, you obviously don't give enough of a ***about this country, and therefore, shouldn't have the right to *** and complain. You didn't get your *** away from your PC for a few hours to press some buttons on a screen, I really don't give a *** what your opinion is, and Washington doesn't either.

all of you points are valid and i respect them , except the bold portion . while this is your opinion and i respect that , this statement is either kinda dumb or youre just young (like maybe this was first election or something close) . See a long long time ago there was this election , see , and no matter who you voted for you lost . The reason you lost is because your vote didnt count , it still doesnt count . I am of course referencing to the election of 2000 . The years events , especially those that caused the Kor to create this thread in the first place , are proof positive that the US government DOESNT *** CARE WHAT YOU THINK .

And if you wanna flame on my point , just know that the Electoral College Exists and is very real . Compare the College votes to popular votes over the past , i dunno 3 or 4 elections and you will see my point .
Perhaps if the Senators , President , and Congress had to actually LIVE under the laws and systems they enact and create , maybe i wouldnt have had to move back in with my parents toting 2 Children , 3 cats , and a Dog cuz i cant afford Rent anymore from myriad reasons ranging from the Economy (try raising a kid or 2 on $300 a week) to Health care (i'd bring home $450 , but $150 a week to pay for that shitty insurance) .Must be nice to do nothing and take home 5 or 6 figures a year .
