WTF blanket "Snuggie"
I prefer being a bright blue Jedi, THANKSMUCH.
leopard print Snuggies, I lol'ed hard in Bed, Bath & Beyond when I saw those. I blurted out to the cashier "Yeah, those things breed cultists. You'd think people were smart enough to actually get a nice robe or something, not a backward sweater."

I have a huge collection of blankets at home since I'm always freezing, and I normally have to resort to using two blankets when I'm on the computer - one for my lap, and one to wrap around my shoulders. Tis a pain in the arse when I get up for any reason because I know I'll have to readjust everything when I sit back down.
But with that said, I'm not desperate enough to spend the $20 myself. I'm a frugal bish at times, and blankets work just fine for my needs.

but really now, what's wrong with a nice warm and fluffy blanket with holes for your hands? A simple robe wouldn't be the same because it's not as fluffy and they're not long enough that you can knead the hems with your toes: both factors which are highly conducive the feeling of being snuggled, I can assure you.
and yes, the hands can get cold, but luckily the sleeves are long enough they can overlap you hands, which add even more to the snuggle feeling.
also, I did laugh at the leopard print ones too, but the pink ribbon ones for breast cancer awareness are aesthetically pleasing, philanthropic, and a wonderful reminder to check every now and then.

Shirayuki, I think the main problem is snuggies are becoming the new grey sweatpants so they're being largely associated with being lazy all day and slightly depressed. That reminds me of the Michael & Michael skit which makes me depressed also because the season's over.

lol, I do have to admit that the first time I saw the ad, I laughed at the idea and then thought nothing more of it, until I got one as a present and was stuck with it...
Oh man. This is perfect for warding off Jehovah's witnesses. They see me in my snuggie and they know my soul has already been saved.

I thought the same and my brother got a snuggie for his b-day in October and I was totally jealous. lol It's still ridiculous, but I was cooold, and he was not.
