I dont think you can get sued for having a photo of someone up. Sad to say, but the person in the photo (yourself for eg) is not the copy right holder.

Good luck to the fella with the very poor english, and understanding of copyright law.

Am I correct in assuming that by becoming a member of this site, by choosing a username and password, all pics posted on it become the technical intellectual property of the site, and therefore do not need to be removed unless dictated by an administrator?

TL;DR: Pics posted are property of site managers?

I was just about to post something similar to what Solare said. Freedom of the press covers someone taking your picture because you were too stupid to stay out of camera range. Second, if a website, barring any infringement upon inappropriate media covered under the understood contract between users of the website and the actual website, takes down a picture it would have to be because the actual copyright holder of that picture said so. It is obvious that the person who's picture was put up is not the copyright holder of such picture even if it is a picture of himself or herself and therefor can take no legal action thereof.

He or she has the legal right to take you to court, but the judge would just laugh at him or her and dismiss the case. If you get a sued, which, by the way the the messages were written is highly unlikely do to the fact that the person cannot win nor speak in any articulate manner, nothing would come of the lawsuit.
