Why Valefor?

What is Valefor's size in population? dead? or just enough? or a large server?

Valefor has just enough. Before I left the server in September it was roughly 1500 players on during the times I was on. Most of the activity going on is EG/HNM with the normal exp parties here and there.

Really wasn't bad for me until I fell behind on missions and the loldrama about SCH > BLM so I didn't get much done.

If EG/HNM is what you're into then there's plenty going on.

I don't know what EGLS is tops and open on the server so you're kinda on your own. You could just /shout in WG and get one easily.

Oh yeah EGLS's are always easy to get into. But Im gonna run my own Its easy.

I don't really like Valefor, to be honest. There's just too many people who take the game WAY too seriously, which sucks the fun out of it. I suppose if you don't mind playing FFXI for 8 or 9 hours a day, you might enjoy being on the server, but working one job a day is enough for me, thanks. Tons of drama and people holding strange grudges against each other, too.

As for population, it's gone down a bit in recent months, although that seems like the norm on most servers. On weekday evenings, it's probably 1100 or so, on weekends 1800-2000.

Like Lilbusta said, you won't have trouble finding a linkshell, the tough part is dealing with the middle school drama once you're in.

*nods in agreement* I have been here since I started playing... don't get me wrong it's a nice server, but be prepared for some strange people.
