LFG/Event LS (NA, Eastern)

Returning player, America, Eastern time zone, active after 6PM on weekdays, noonish on weekends. Been puttering around for the past several months, trying to do as much as I can by myself but I've hit a hard wall trying to do several things, so I thought I'd put my flag up here to see what happens.

BTW - I'm not a hardcore player; I'm too old for that nonsense, heh. I just want a group/LS that regularly gets together & does stuff.

What I'm looking to do regularly:

• Omen, Vagary & Sortie - finishing TVR, armor upgrades & other trinkets

• Odyssey - armor & UNM item upgrades

• Limbus - haven't tried the new system yet, but it looks fun

• Geas Fete - soloed some, but obviously can't get the good stuff that way

• Ambuscade - I solo this regularly, but it's painstakingly slow that way

I do Dynamis D every Saturday @ noon with another LS, but I'm open to doing it midweek too.

Jobs I have geared:

• DRK(ML0) - my best geared & favorite job. apoc & ragnarok. several +1 & +2 JSE armor pieces. mostly odyssean & ambu +2 though.

• BLU - just started gearing this. working on naegling because I already have a pulse weapon. all JSE armor is still 109 though. have almost all spells but missing a few crucial ones. probably will go for tizona.

• NIN - used to have a decent NIN before ilvl, now it's just +1 ambu with 1 or 2 109 JSE pieces to swap in. would gear it further if newer content called for it.

Jobs I'm interested in gearing: COR, PUP, RDM & GEO (recently got my golden shovel too and idris looks fun), maybe PLD too. I'd honestly prefer RUN but I don't think I have the skill for that, heh.

I don't think your advice is offensive. It's just stupid.

To OP; if you're interested in server transferring Lakshmi has a guy that does Omen/Vagary daily earlier in the day which you'd probably be able to attend on the weekends. I'd also help you out with getting geared up as well.

I would definitely work on getting your GEO & RDM geared up. Those are very useful and scale well into end game. Cor too, but that's a very popular low entry job that you may be fighting a spot for.

The LS I run with does Dyna-D clears, Delve, Vagary, PUG Ody and Ambu, and we are clearing Aeonics (working through Ru’an!). We are a returning player ls. Events are 8:30pm EST. We’d love to have you if you’re interested!

We haven’t been doing Omen as of late. But might. I casually do Limbus with folks in the shell.
