Theyll add a message to HQ box when you dont get your 5k units
And it will instead break HQ box entirely. It wont consume your KIs , it wont increase your cap, but it will still count against your weekly 5. It wont be fixed until next maintenance either.
Lets be real here, we been playin this game for long enough to know how this ***goes

Both went down within 24 hours of popping on Phoenix (not one of the biggest, less than 1/2 of the big 3 population),in a matter of 2 days, back to back. Not sure how long it took, wasn’t there for any of them (went for a run instead), but I tell you what, servers are stronger than what people believe or make it sounds. Heard it was pure chaos, not sure how, but people logged on and went at it. The content is, at least for now, a pure success of people working together.
Now if only we could keep the information easily readable and accessible around here instead of this capricious sarcastic and narcissism comments coming from Asura/carbuncle polluting every conversation. I understand 10 ppl post 1000’s of post, but there’s also a huge amount of people that come here to read and find information. Maybe make your own thread guys?!?

Anyways, I think the whole "4 NM's will spawn every day until all 22 spawn and are killed" may be partially inaccurate.
I've noticed there can only be one NM among each wing (ie: there will always be one NM in one of NW NE SW SE when applicable, there will never be two in the same wing), though I'm sure others have noticed this too. My server had 3 NM's up for a few days, but condition 2 was staying at 18/22, implying theres a fourth NM still in the queue. That fourth NM wasnt spawning until we cleared out the 3 NM's and it finally spawned today on one of the floors that was tied up.
I believe the server predetermines where all the NM's will be spawning at the 4 week reset. ie: 5 or 6 will spawn NW, 5 or 6 will spawn NE, 5 or 6 will spawn SW, 5 or 6 will spawn SE (5 or 6 because theres 22 jobs). I believe if you only hunted the NM's in NW and NE, they would stop respawning there until next reset.

Given the current implementation of Ultima/Omega to me it still feels like there's something missing, altough if you ask me what, I can't really say what Limbus would need to feel like a more interesting, cohese content.
In terms of "motivation" the new gear is really interesting. Aside from the fact each HQ2 piece is gonna cost a gazilion, I'm sure that will generate a big drive for people to do the content for a long time.
Still, I feel it needs something more but I can't say what.
And no I'm not talking about small tweaks or adjustments, I'm sure those will come eventually.

They said(november freshly picked) they still had 40% of their total limbus changes left to implement and that ultima/oemga and the new equip was one part of that. so possibly their vision of limbus is not yet complete.

tried searching for provoke and animated flourish, but didn’t find a reply with them mentioned.
but for those who find themselves soloing on DNC or /DNC when soloing, on top of the benefits of spectral jig between floors, I accidentally found out that animated flourish pulls doesn’t cause mobs to link? not sure for how long (for example if you animated flourish pull a caster and it sits near linkable allies for extended durations), but it doesn’t appear to cause linking for a reasonable time window.
could be useful for those relying on solo pulls at higher lvl.
mentioned provoke because i think they might have the same effect, but have only personally tried animated flourish.

From the message they gave in the recent Vana'diel thingy, saying grace is "around" 50% potency, I think we can imply that the full potency is gonna be something like Acc/Racc/Macc+10, all stats+50, HP + uhm 2k? Exp loss -100%?
Or something like that.

Well it's pretty slow since the "50%" was reached.
I think it's both to two aspects.
On one hand, the further you go the slower it gets and we knew that.
On the other hand it feels even worse because, I think, the volume of people doing Limbus is much smaller than months ago.
Now given how new things will be getting to limbus and given how *** insanely good (some of) the new armor are, I'm gonna be optimistical here and believe a lot of people will be doing Limbus again, soon.

...but Euvhi haven't been linking for me? I always expect Euvhi are "aggro when open, link when closed", but the ones in Temenos don't aggro or link when closed - have I just not noticed? Like, I think I'd notice that pretty fast, but I could easily be confused.

Ok...so it takes 5 shards of trust, 1 murky matter, and 1 alabaster matter to create the purification item "Jewel of Camaraderie." The HQ1 item has 30 levels of RP, and the first 2 levels are 750/1600 units, so looks similar to the accessories (12 weeks to max).

see, now we know. Having assumed 1 shard makes it 5x more expensive.
General idea isn't exact
It might be 1 shard 1 cursed 1 matter or it might be 20 matters or 200 shards or both matters
And the unknown units cost, if there is one

It's the jewel (5 shards + both matters) + units to upgrade.

That pic is of the 5k bonus chest, would appear to be full drops.
I just finished opening both chests on 3 characters:
Character 1 got the 5k bonus chest in Temenos, identical drops to Falkirk, 2 shards, 4 mats, 2 parts and a matter (we need 9 inv spaces now opening chests... rip me)
In Apollyon Character 1 got 1 shard and 1 mat
Character 2 got 1 shard in Temenos and 1 shard + 1 mat in Apollyon
Character 3 got 1 shard + 1 mat in Temenos and in Apollyon got 2 shards + 3 mats and a matter.
The only constant was 1 shard for all 6 chests, I also got 0 omega parts from those 3 chests.

6 Chests for me:
5 3k chests, each got 1 synth material, 1 shard, no body parts.
1 5k chest, got: 2 shards, 2 synth mats, 1 body part.
All chests included a matter, but that's irrelevant since it's my first climb since the JSE NMs were added, lol.
Also gold chest on Carbuncle (we killed Ultima/Omega last month)

~10-12 weeks to upgrade one piece to rank 30. One year to upgrade a set. No wonder they allow to transfer augments lol
I didn't see a thread dedicated to new-new Limbus so here's one with some findings. I’ve continued to edit this post with new discoveries made throughout the thread.

Obtaining the Key Items / Units
Kill mobs to fill the bar in the upper left. Seems to take 6-15+ mobs per floor, this increases based on the chosen mob level and number of people in your party. You continue to get units as long as you want to sit there and keep killing and refill the bar, but at half the rate. Whether this is comparable to the units gained by continuing to move floors and finishing the event to get the chest bonus is up a function of your personal kill speed and group size.
Each Temporary KI looks like "Apollyon SE #1 data", and you get 1 per floor. You keep them until you open a chest and then they are all lost. You get a KI for filling up the bar at the top of the screen on each floor. I didn't count but I think it requires like 10 mobs per floor (this apparently varies by level choice). Once you get a KI, you should get to keep it even if you leave Limbus. You would lose any progress on any un-completed floors, but this is like 6-10 kills so no biggie.
You can enter any section / floor at any time. You don't need to go in any type of order or "climb" if you're missing one of the upper KIs from a run that got interrupted.
Once you choose a level (119-130), I think you need to keep that level choice until you open a chest. If you adjust it after getting some KIs, you might lose them. The NPC dialogue isn't too clear on this.
There were no direct drops from mobs, of any kind.
Mob Details
All the mobs seem to have pretty serious DT, probably 50% (confirm by Brixy as 50%, per Air Knife expected enspell dmg). But they aren't hard. They hit like 130s. AoE/Cleaving is extremely nerfed.
Pulling mobs is weird. Any initial spell cast before initial aggro / dynamic level adjustment may land, but will not remain on the mob. You will not see a message to reflect this.
If you pull with silence (while it's un-aggroed), it appears the silence instantly wears without any message, likely due to the dynamic-level adjustment which happens as soon as you aggro (credit to Moonlightagb for this theory, I think it's correct). Silencing twice is probably needed. This doesn't matter much in a party, but if you're solo and mob density is high this effect could be pretty annoying. Other examples later verified by others: If you pull with Immanence, the skill chain will not complete. If you pull with Dia, you can sleep right after.
Mob respawn is on the order of a few minutes but I was pretty lonely this morning. I had one floor with a couple groups and it felt faster, might be dynamic spawn rate.
Aside from the initial-aggro weirdness, everything can be debuffed and slept as expected. Sneak/invis work fine, but true aggro mobs remain like Imps and such.
Getting the goods
In order for the chest to open, you need to finish all of the zone, not just one section. So Apollyon zone is 18 KIs, Temenos zone should be 25 KIs. If the chest says "it won't open", you need more KIs. The chests are located at the exit of each "top floor" in each section. However, you can only open a chest once you have finished all the sections (NW,NE,SW,SE,etc).
After getting all KIs in Apollyon, each character had earned:
About 4000 units from killing mobs and climbing floors
3000 units from finding a shiny ??? on the ground and clicking it
3000 units (one character in the party got 5000 units, no idea why) directly from the chest
So each character of a 6-person party left a ~90 minute run with 10-12k units. EP was ~15k/hr, but this is ML50s fighting level 130s. Maybe it's better if you're lower.
My initial limit on Apollyon units was 30,000. After I opened the chest, that increased to 33,000. It looks to increase 3000 more with each chest open.
Apollyon Units are used to upgrade AF pieces to +4.
Temenos Units are used to upgrade relic pieces to +4.
The upgrade costs are:
Head: 20k units
Body: 30k units
Hands: 15k units
Legs: 25k units
Feet: 10k units
Once I got to 10k units, the furnace did allow me to trade a foot piece, though I didn't choose to complete the process. Trading any other slot did nothing.
I did get the title Apollyon Razer, which I think is just the same as the old title lol
