For people who can't log in until later, todays objectives are:
Clear an Ambuscade.
Complete the quest 'Paying lip service'
Auctioning (it's a repeat of the last one)
Sparks of Eminence (spend 2500) (Rewards 20, not 10 as listed)
Unwanted orbs (Cosmic orbs again)
Total: 70
Current max: 600.
Sucks about the sparks, I personally barely had 2500 to clear it myself.

Also just noticed, Sparks of Eminance reward sum for today is also mislabled. It gives 20, not 10.

Geez, that's really shitty about the sparks. There's no way around that if you've already spent them, is there?
Edit: it's prob already been said, but the WKR objectives with no campaign up to reduce timers is also pretty shitty. Those things die nearly instantly.

I ended up finishing my sparks exchange for the week early (yesterday) because of the extra sparks from vana'bout objectives.

It wouldnt be so bad if there were fallback options to use sparks that bypassed the cap (e: rem pages, etchings, cap ring, etc). But the fact this is popping up today makes me think this objective will repeat again before sunday.

Ideally, it'd just loop back around and reoffer cancelled options once all other options have been completed.

Eh, the Sparks thing is not really a bug, more a perfect example that they should have asked the janitor if this objective was without problems.

One is a mislocalization or quality assurance of the number of plaudits rewarded. If you’re texting me? Sure, no worries. But this is FFXI. Serious business.
I mean they did mix up item ID numbers with the number of plaudits rewarded the other week.
The other one, yeah, fair enough, but, you know… kinda silly oversight. Especially with the title being a thing and mastery ranks now relevant to gameplay.
The orb thing too. Kind of knocked my motivation out on day zero with the “cosmic orb” mislocalization at JPM rolling over.
And the “phoenix down.” I’m here lurking, hard to say to Joe-casual to dig through the .dats and figure out this item doesn’t exist.

Is it not the case that if I kept "Sparks of Eminence (VBD)" active through the week, come next Sunday I can spend Sparks to complete it and it'll be replaced by that day's Daily?
Vana'bout challenge period is until 12/1 so if I complete Sparks VBD on 11/23 won't it be replaced with daily for 11/24? Then complete that and get daily for 11/25 etc?

I didn't even notice it says "Phoenix Down" until you said so. For me it was just "Ah, that bunch of items" because they're all used for the first reforging at Monisette.

Canceled a Vanquish Omen task yesterday on my Mule, it was on my list today again. I hit cancel, now it shows "Unwanted Orbs" cancelled and I can't do it lol
Do you know what they mean by "Cosmic orb"? I tried trading a spent Microcosmic orb and nothing happened.
